Review Samsung ATIV Tab GT-P8510 Tablet

13 January 2013
  • Summary: Premium tablet? At least that's the segment in which Samsung places its new 750 Euro (~$980) ATIV. Windows RT, a 10.1-inch screen, 2 GB RAM, a fast 1.5 GHz SoC from Qualcomm, and the latest wireless technologies make a solid starting point.
  • Pros: Good feel, workmanship, and stability, Attractive design, USB and HDMI ports, Modern wireless technologies, including NFC, Compelling 10.1-inch touchscreen, Good performance under Windows RT, Low heat generation, Positioning of the stereo speakers, Large battery and long run times, The workmanship, the uniform illumination of the display, and the positioning of the speakers.
  • Cons: No UMTS option, Charging is only possible via the adapter, Memory: only 14 of the 32 GB are available, Limited range of products in the Windows Store, Minimalistic camera application, Display resolution of just 1366x768 pixels, Average sounding speakers, Excessive price for a tablet, A model with an integrated UMTS module, a significantly lower entry-level price, and more apps in the Windows Store.

Sure, getting comfortable with the device requires time and patience, especially since it runs an operating system that users aren't truly familiar with yet, but based on our experience, we can reassure you that the learning...
  • Pros: Full-sized USB port, Very light for a 10-inch tablet
  • Cons: Build quality is so-so, Serious shortage of apps

Review - Samsung ATIV Tab: goed, maar prijzig

24 February 2013

  • Pros: – Svært enkelt i bruk
  • Cons: – Dårlig utvalg av apper
