Summary: I have a acer tablet that was cheaper and runs alot smoother. The motorola has a lot of lag even if you load custom roms or leave stock. It has a dedicated partition that cant be changed and this causes it to freeze up . For the price im happy but if I had paid full price I would have returned it. To much lag.
Pros: Fast processor, plenty of onboard memory, microSD card port is a big plus, battery life is INSANE, sound output is respectable, dual cameras are both pretty good resolution, construction is very sturdy.
Cons: Freezes occasionally, metal back casing gets scratched very easily.
Summary: This tablet is very quick, love the big screen . There's a few minor downsides to it though. The charging plug is in a bad spot. its on the bottom \ middle of the tablet , so its kinda difficult to use while plugged in if your using a stand style case. Also the tablet doesn't have any standard usb connections, you'll have to use an adapter (micro usb to female standard usb) to be able to use a flash drive \ camera etc.
Summary: this is my first tablet and am very pleased. im not an appple guy so i wanted an android tablet to compliment my android phone. this is exactly what i was looking for.the android app market is catching up with i pad app market so you wont lose many choices there. the price is great for what you get. i think it is the best android tablet for the price by far.
Summary: this is our second Motorola zoom. We are giving our first on which is 3g to our daughter. My wife absolutely loves it and uses it way more than I anticipated. I usually by refurbished products and purchase a SquareTrade warranty. Have not used the warrantys but love the security. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good inexpensive starter tablet.
