Good for the price

Julio A M Neto, Amazon
15 July 2013
  • Summary: Motorola unfortunately became a cheap company and this is a cheap tablet. You get what you pay for. If you're willing, go for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (many options of internal memory and you can get external memory), newer android version (MUCH better) or even the Nexus 10 (with no external storage option tough).

Not that good of product.

Daniel .C. Ramirez, Amazon
17 April 2013
  • Summary: First I had the problem of not booting up , Motorola wasn't able to help me on that by phone, So I return it for repairs, Then the Android Keyboard was lost or missing And the only way I could get it back was to clear every thing or factory reset. this is not what I expect from this product.

Does everything it promisses

Igor Rizk, Amazon
29 January 2013
  • Summary: Good product, a little expensive though. I only bought it because I had to have it delivered in short time and this was the only one with fast delivery. It has some minor bugs sometimes, but nothing to worry about. You will need a valid SIM to complete the first setup, than you can use the tablet without it.

Good price for the money but fair in quality

crossiter-2012, Ebay

  • Summary: I choose this product due to the storage amt so my granddaughter could download a lot of games and music so it would last a long time. I really was disappointed with the color of the screen , I have an iPad I also bought the 2 grandson's a kindle fire and the graphics on those are even better I see there is an upgrade for the Motorola but this is not available as of yet I read the one ladies review which she talks about the comparison of the iPad and the Motorola which...

No problem return.

rakuten
26 November 2012
  • Summary: he tablet could be a decent backup for IPad, but the one received was missing a switch, which was not immediately noticeable. It turned on and worked well until the problem was discovered. The seller was great to work with in trying to resolve the problem. Although I ended up returning the tablet, I would not hesitate to recommend doing business with them.

dearth of accessories

amazon fan, Amazon
23 August 2012
  • Summary: I like my Xoom Family edition. Please note that few accessories are available for the Family edition. The Family edition is thicker than the regular Xoom. It does not fit into the charging stand. Cases and some screen covers are also a poor fit. If you plan to use your Family Edition Xoom with accessories, you might do better with the regular Xoom. If someone knows where to find accessories that fit the Family Edition, it would be great if you would post a comment.

User Review

  • Summary: 4th tablet I've tried. Disappointed. This tablet literally made my wrists hurt! It was so heavy, compared to others. I need a tablet for: reading email, shopping, and banking, and Skype. I am not a high maintence user. I even want to print the occational coupon. This tablet hung itsself on some sites, was very difficult to print from via wireless. Fields for typing have glitches, couldn't access Comcasts site to fix my account.

Great tablet but odd power cord provided

Dan T., Amazon
6 August 2012
  • Summary: Received 2nd Motorola Xoom today. I had to return the first one I ordered (from ARSM) as it was a locked CDMA Verizon device but sold as an unlocked GSM device. The tablet I received today, (sold by Firemall) was sold as new but appears to be an open box product. It did not have a screen cover and was sent with a very strange power cord. It contained a UK power cord with a non Motorola North American adapter. It also has a T-Mobile sim card in the device?
