Summary: Bought one used for my wife, Xmas 2012. From the reviews I had read, I expected that it would be on the same quality level as the regular Xoom, and share accessories like the speaker dock etc, but this is definitely not the case. Pros: 1) Fairly light weight (lighter than the non-FE Xoom - generation 1). 2) Good quality screen, bright and crisp. 3) Decent performance. 4) Battery runtime is good.
Summary: I 'm buying from Masterdeals and they send me the MZ600 model with Verizon supplier. No 3G, noway to upgrade 4G from motorola. I thinks they must have the right business. Anyway, have some problem with battery and hard to charge sometimes. Bad supplier, bad item.
Summary: I bought the 16GB Xoom family for $200 used. From the start, the speakers did not work and had to use headphones. Did not maintain charge - charge all night, use it between a few minutes or a few hours during the day, the following day it would be dead and need to be recharged. Finally today, my two-year old got hold of the tablet and accidentally dropped it on the tile floor from a distance of two feet, cracking the glass - it turns on, but it is almost impossible to...
Summary: The tablet says unlocked 3G but you can't use your phone sim card into tablet and expect internet to work. I am still trying from Motorola and ATT to provide me settings but motorola said that this tablet was made for SOuth Africa and would only provide limited support. They ask me to change the VPN settings which in theory I can get from ATT. At&T doesn't have any information on VPN settings for Motorola Xoom.
Summary: As a huge Moto fan, I have to say I was very disappointed with the Xoom. I've owned the Droid - Droid X2 and loved the phones, which only made sense for me to buy the Xoom. Office apps such as Docs TOGO crashed, Dropbox would crash as several other apps. I thought it would be better if I rooted the Xoom, which helped better the performance but overall it would still crash during usage. I finally broke down and bought the IPAD 3 which I've been very happy with...
Pros: Can be rooted to remove apps not used. Lots of memory.
Cons: Many office/ productivty apps would close/crash. Not very reliable when sendiing emails, or using Excel or office programs.
Summary: When I first recieved this tablet, I was very excited, but that soon turned to dismay, although the colors were great, the machine continually went into an automatic reboot, I could not read anything for more than a minute or two. I returned it to Amazon and they very quickly returned my money and apologised for the inconvenience.
Advertising the GED MZ600 and selling the MZ601- misleading!

Summary: I was one of the first to run out to the car phone warehouse to buy the Motorola Xoom wifi+3g model mz601. It's been a nightmare since then. I tried to return it after 10 days of purchase for a refund due to battery drain but was told I couldn't get a refund. I purchased it in April and here it is in August and still no updates. Nothing works and everything is crashing.
Summary: Good hardware, even tho one corner creaks a bit. nice specs, screen is only soo soo. Zero support outside the US. Doesn't count as a Google experience device. missing a lot of great features from honeycomb because of that.
Summary: I've been using the device since launch with mixed feelings. First the bad Motorola seem to be highly focused on the US market, a month after this device got a major update in the US still no sign of it in the UK or anywhere outside the US. They've not even kept the community up to data as to when we can expect it. Secondly this as a non functional SD card slot, and again no time frames for when this will get fixed.
