Hands on Review of the Motorola Xoom

Good E-Book Readers
1 April 2013
  • Conclusion: The Motorola Xoom right out of the gates is one of the most amazing pieces of hardware we have ever reviewed. We review tablets almost weekly here at Good e-Reader, along with e-Readers. The Motorola Xoom right out of the box had everything working positively towards it being the premier Android tablet of 2011. Not only has it not crashed within the first few days of using it, but all of the applications and games took advantage of the dual core Tegra 2 processor.

Motorola Xoom

intomobile.com
4 August 2011
  • Excerpt: The Motorola XOOM is the American company's answer to the iPad. Specs wise, Moto's tablet comes with a 10.1-inch 1280x800 pixels capacitive touchscreen, NVidia's Tegra2 dual-core processor, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel camera on the front (for video calls), HSPA and WiFi connectivity, quite a few sensors (including gyroscope and barometer), tons of built-in storage that's further expandable with microSD cards. Android 3.0 Honeycomb is running the show.
  • Pros: Verizon 4G LTE network is incredibly fast, 32GB microSD card included, Integrated kickstand works in portrait and landscape
  • Cons: Battery life is among the worst weve ever seen, No 4G LTE power toggle option, Kickstand in landscape orientation blocks microUSB port

Review Motorola Xoom WiFi/UMTS Tablet/MID

Notebookcheck
23 June 2011
  • Summary: ZOOM ZOOM. The first 10.1" Motorola tablet goes by the name XOOM. Nothing could possibly go wrong, one would think. If Motorola applies their know-how from smart phones, touch interfaces and the Android operating system in the Xoom Tablet correctly, the Xoom should be one of the best sellers in summer 2011.
  • Pros: Fan / silent operation, Large memory, 5 MP digicam, Good power management, The Xoom is very handy and fits well in your hands.  The display reacts immediately to inputs.
  • Cons: Reflective display surface, Unusable microSD slot, Lack of controls on the device, Often crashes, Isn't recognized by Vista, The Xoom's operating elements are always in the lower left corner of the display.  In terms of hardware, the device has no corresponding keys.

Análise do Tablet/MID Motorola Xoom WiFi/UMTS

Notebookcheck
27 July 2011
  • Conclusion: As semanas testando o Xoom passaram voando.

On apprécie.
  • Pros: Finitions, Android 3.0, Gestion des applications, Connectivité, Vélocité, Autonomie
