My view of the Motion LS800 Tablet PC

techfreakbob, Ebay
14 December 2010
  • Summary: Pros: Great for drawing on. Charges fast. Easy to use. Programmable buttons for shortcuts and customization. Cons: Pretty slow and it can't really stream media. Gets hot quickly. Summary: I bought this online through Ebay and it came quickly and worked just fine. I downloaded a trial version of an Autocad drawing program and was impressed with the sensitivity and accuracy of the tablet.

Motion Computing's LS-800 Tablet PC

webcaduceus, Ebay
14 June 2010
  • Summary: Having never owned a tablet PC, I purchased Motion Computing's LS-800 for the excellent price as a refurbished, loaded and portable laptop. While I'm not disappointed with the very good deal and above average performance for inherent specifications, I say the previous with one caveat. My LS-800 operates at approximately 57° C or 135°F and is considerably uncomfortable for lap or body placement.

LS800 new owner review

rum39dx, Ebay
4 March 2010
  • Summary: I bought a new LS800 on Ebay around X-mas time. Had I purchased it 2 months later, I could have saved another 200 dollars over my purchase price, which was alread about 1/3 of the original price of the unit several years ago. While the LS800 design is dated and Motion Computing support for this computer is about ended, there is no better small slate/tablet PC available today!
