Summary: Spent the last 5 hours trying to set up an Outlook.com account and trying to set up my comcast email account. Not intuitive at all. I've successfully set up and used a Kindle Fire and an iPhone with virtually no problems. If I can't get comcast email, this unit will go back. Apps are pathetic. Again, this is not as intuitive as other products I've used. Frustrating for sure.
Summary: I'll start out by saying the tablet itself is beautiful and crisp. It runs well and can be fun to use. On the other hand the Windows 8 setup is awful. It's designed to be easier but in reality it's just a constant annoyance. Great for the price if you're used to Windows.
Summary: Got this for my wife's Christmas gift and gave it to her right away. She loves it, hardly puts it down. Right now she is on the couch watching tv on her Surface. We are on vacation and the tv at our place is not so great so she has her Surface and is happy. We bought the Surface because of the screen size and we wanted to give Win 8 a try. Glad we did. Don't know what all the hoopla about Win 8 is all about.
Summary: I've only had the surface for about a week and a few things are occurring frozen screens and sound glitches off and it's kind of slow but I know it not brand new so still working with it making sure it's working solid or at least consistent.
