Awesome tablet but you can find it cheaper at a Microsoft store online or local.

Summary: This is probably the best tablet for the money, except for the surface pro 2 of course... Microsoft sells this brand new for 699 and the 128gb is sold for 799. Much better price and still a really good product.
Very Impressed, holistically, not a perfect product.

Summary: I am very, very happy with my Surface Pro. I've had it about three days now and it has been a very good experience. When you first open up the box, the "instructions" are almost corny, and definitely laughable (as intended). It shows you that the hardware setup is connecting the keyboard (similar to the magnetic connections Apple computers use for their power cables) and the software setup is pressing the on button. That was the entire packet.
Summary: I've been a skeptic of Windows 8 since it came out. I took advantage of an inexpensive upgrade on my home desktop to see what the Windows 8 experience is all about. Overall, I didn't care for it much, but it works nonetheless. When looking into tablet devices, I narrowed my choices down to an iPad Retina Display, Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (android) and the Windows Surface Pro.
Summary: PROS: - Stylus is great - Windows based desktop (kind of hidden underneath the tablet app interface) CONS: - The side attachment spot for the stylus is NOT secure & it would be very easy to lose. - Battery drains relatively quickly - Just messing with it drained the battery more than half over the course of a day and I didnt even use it that much.
Summary: I gave up my Ipad as it just didn't do everything I needed it to. And bought the surface instead. My only complaint is that 10 inches is still a little small. But it does do everything I needed it to!
Summary: Tech news site The Verge in their review of the Surface Pro asked who this product is for? What is the target market that Microsoft was aiming at with the Surface Pro? The questions were asked as if it were rhetorical, however the answer to me was clear: I am the target market for the Surface Pro. I am a junior app developer by hobby, Engineer and Pharmacist by education who is just a few years out of school.
Summary: Has all the benefits of a normal computer but with the portability of a pad. Has the USB that can drive a printer or other device. The key board has a nice feel to the keys with little pressure. Great product.
