Summary: A Microsoft Surface is the best form factor computer on the market today for students or busy professionals. This particular model, the Pro 2 512GB HD with 8GB RAM is the best in the line since it's got top-of-the-line performance and the SP2's don't have a fan that constantly throttles the CPU.
Of Great Use to Aspiring Artists, However Alone it Cannot Power A Portable Monitor

Summary: I am a Visual Development grad student, and as such I needed a platform to draw, sketch, or otherwise render all of my illustrations using software such as Corel Painter, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
Summary: I just bought this (08/2015) instead of a Surface Pro 3 (or the rumored Surface Pro 4 that may be out in the fall). There were a couple of reasons: 1) Size - I actually prefer the smaller 10.6" form factor over the Pro 3 12", I find it's more portable with the exact same processor as the newer Pro...
Glad I did my research. 2 semesters later, still the right buy :)

Summary: Bought this for college, work & and household management. More than up to the task. It came exactly as described in a sufficiently expedient manner & I've had no problems with it since. Definitely a great purchase from a credible seller. Well worth the investment!
Summary: Absolutely worth the money you spend on it! I highly recommend this product if you are not only looking for a laptop but one with multitouch capabilities and super portability then the Microsoft surface pro 2 is the right way to go.
Summary: I've been using this device for more than 6 months now. I've got it for a great price and the specs are very good. I've got it for work since my job is on-the-move and requires constant use of a windows PC/laptop. The surface pro 2 proved to be amazing.
The MS PRO 2 is an excellent full on computer. Much cheaper than MSPRO 3 .

Summary: Though it takes some getting use to Windows 8 the Microsoft Surface Pro unit is a fabulous full on computer and not just Notebook. If you want a cheaper version that functions as a notebook the RT version of windows in the Surface series can be purchased or the Mircosoft Surface (1) or 2 (without...
Summary: I bought it for the Wacom digitizer - in hopes of having a poor man's "Cintiq" and I'm not disappointed. Though the widescreen proportions aren't the best for sketching in portrait mode, I've been very happy with this purchase!
Good buy if you need a light and capable Pen input tablet pc, not for media consumption

Summary: it works pretty well, but i would not recommend if all you do is watching movies and browse the web. i use it to draw and because i can run cad programs (no rendering, just building) it is much more convenient than carrying my big laptop around. battery life is okay, sound is pretty low though.
