Do not buy.

  • Summary: Friends, a word of advice, NEVER buy Micromax products. I bought their tablet from a store as some gift vouchers (credit card reward points) made it look like throwaway price. Unfortunately the device quality was also throwaway-level! The tab developed motherboard issues after only a couple of months. It has been in repair center for 3 MONTHS!! Micromax quotes unavailability of parts and is not ready to give me a replacement unit (or refund).

Poor quality product dumped in India

Ranvir Shroff, flipkart.com

  • Summary: I was hoping MMX would do a decent job with the Funbook. It was just stupid of me to expect anything but a total rip-off of a cheap chinese tablet. We are even paying extra for no dam reason. Just google "Momo9 Ployer" and you will see that exact same is selling for $46 (Rs. 2200) in China. *spit* Attitude Daksha Tablet is the exact same also, launched in India for only Rs. 5000. On this ugly thing Skype doesn't work. Youtube just keeps on hanging.

Cheap Price Cheap Product

Rajeev Lal, flipkart.com

  • Summary: Bought it from another online store as it was out of stock on flipkart. Day 1, I could use this for 30 minutes and then it started showing up the problems. If I keep the Ice Cream Sandwich aside then nothing good to talk about this Funbook. Poorly designed, resolution is bad to show circle as ellipse, bad battery (in my case it was not even giving 1 hour of backup), poor plastic case, bad browser, bad camera (showing green stripes at other side on video chat).

  • Summary: I bought it and almost everything about the company is bad. The service people can not provide any support. They just do not understand technology. The product has given me problems from ay one in battery life and internet connectivity. Their own dongle does not connect with the funbook....and its not funny!

  • Summary: Cant really spend so much on such a tablet by Micromax. . . . . . . ? ? ? ? ? We can easily get such features in various other Tablets already in the market. Instead I would recommend all the users to buy an Aakash Tablet at 3000/- or iBall Slide at around12000/- .
