Mercury mTab NEO 2 Review

Tech2
27 October 2012
  • Summary: The Mercury mTab NEO 2 is priced at Rs.14,999 which makes it expensive compared to other 3G 7-inch tablets. But the price is the least of their concerns, the tablet itself is quite a disappointment and it seems like they learnt nothing from their past models. The display continues to be the weakest link and in a device like a tablet, that’s a complete deal breaker.

Mercury mTab Neo2

thinkdigit.com
26 May 2012
  • Summary: The Mercury mTab Neo2 is a well-built tablet that offers some good specifications under the hood, especially the dual-core processor and a nice build. The absence of a volume rocker is missed but the addition of the SIM card slot makes the device capable of making calls as well as accessing data without a dongle sticking out of the device. For Rs. 15,000 it is a little difficult to recommend the Neo2, especially when you can get the iBerry Auxus AX02 for around Rs.
  • Pros: Good Build, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1080p MP4 playback, Good Capacitive touchscreen, Keyboard is really good in portrait mode, SIM card slot
  • Cons: Bad viewing angles, No volume rocker, Menu, Home and Power buttons could have been more ergonomic
