I am very disappointed with this purchase and the quality of Lenovo
20 September 2014
Summary: After 2 months, the screen goes periodically not respond to touch. The first time helped off, but now the screen nitrile reacts to touch very rarely. Saves only the presence of the keyboard. Get support and repair outside the USA is impossible. I am very disappointed with this purchase and the quality of Lenovo. Money thrown to the wind.
Summary: If I could give this 0 stars, I would. It has great potential: it's light weight with a nice display and has a keyboard and MS Office. All reasons why I purchased it; however, the product is completely unreliable. The keyboard and its associated functions (mouse and speakers) quit working after the device has been powered for a while. The only way to get them back is to completely shutdown (not restart) and then power back up. But...
DON"T buy this product unless you want to visit Kinkos every 2 weeks to send it for repair

Summary: I'm a very loyal Lenovo customer. In the last 6 years I had a X61, X220, Carbon X1 and now a T440. When I saw the Miix2-10 I really liked the design and form factor and because was a Lenovo product I got one. Big mistake! this product is not reliable at all so is a NO-NO for business unless you want to have a hard time and waste your time. It has problems with the power, suddenly stop working and will not power on. I sent it twice for repair with not success.
Summary: Bought this machine for personal use as a laptop replacement. I was really excited about the slate ability and the high resolution. Right on the beginning the keyboard dock did not connect under windows, I could hear the device connect and disconnect repeatedly. After 5 days of minimal use the machine stopped working altogether (!!) and would not turn on. I'm currently out of the US for the next six months.
Summary: Placed order for Mix 2 10in advance as I admired the design and felt it would work well for travel. When i got it i set it up and initially it worked fine. The first time I used it to give a presentation it would not turn on. Finally it turned on at the last minute and worked fine. Later It failed to turn on again.
Summary: This is an interesting design but just doesn't work when all things are considered. There are reviews on the web that compare this to the Asus Transformer which has longer battery life, USB 3, actual function keys, lower resolution screen and the tablet locks into the keyboard. Plus, the way the tablet attaches to the keyboard there are no good cases that work with it while they are attached, unlike the Asus.
I wanted to buy this, and couldn't. What kind of support can be expected, once you do buy?

Summary: The incompetence seems to be endemic. Visit the website, and look at the FAQ for the Lenovo. Most of the questions revolve around: "You advertised this price, but when I go to buy,I get charged this..." Yeah, a company that used to be part of Big Blue now doing bate-and-switch. Still, I thought that this looked pretty good on paper. The site says "free returns." Well, not so easy. Read the fine print when you go to buy: they can charge you a restocking fee of 20%.
