Summary: speakers crackle with too much bass or volume. if you run battery dead it throws a BIOS fault upon startup which can be scary first time. the primary reason I wanted a full featured windows OS is to be able to copy/install files directly from network. u can stream movies/music off network at home or copy them over for road trips. the number of games/apps in the windows store is increasing by the day.
Summary: Sometimes you just don't need the super high power and cost of a Microsoft Surface 2. This tablet is about the same size but with a lower power chip. It can be charged and have a USB device attached at the same time which many tablets cannot. I haven't tried running photoshop on it, but I didn't buy it for that. It runs the old Windows programs I need it too, and is speedy and responsive for web and streaming video.
Summary: I have had since Dec 2013. Regarding the slowness issue, this shipped with McAfee or Norton (I don't remember which) suite. Uninstall this. Windows 8 includes it's own antivirus. update to Windows 8.1. If you didn't get a keyboard case with the computer get one and a bluetooth mouse. Removing the duplicate anti-virus and installing windows 8.1 will greatly improve your speed.
Summary: Good- Nice clean IPS display, light weight and about 8hrs of battery life. Bad- Windows 8 desktop is still hard to navigate on touch. Still could be in a smaller form factor. Out of the box the desktop won't move due to windows 8 areo weighing the system down. That's the minus one star. Atom is a good processor, but windows will weigh it down to a crawl. After, I disabled the visual effects the system ran just fine.
Summary: The Tablet is very user friendly. Screen is nice and clear. I would recommend it as it does what it says on the tin. The only downfall in the purchase was that it was advertised as 'Silver' but a black one arrived. Not too disappointed but feel that the colour should have been as advertised or at least some explanation why another colour.
Summary: Very happy with this device. It was easy to set up and the supplied keyboard/folder is very useful. Like other purchasers, I would have given it 5 stars if the USB port had been accessible with the tablet fitted to the keyboard.
Summary: The tablet is great, very responsive, very clear, it works with my wierd Xbox controller but there is one major downfall... The micro usb is at the bottom. This means if the keyboard is accessed no external devices can be. But the tablet has full Windows 8 and can run plenty of my old games. Flash games don't work with a keyboard.
Summary: I bought this because I wanted a PC which could be both a PC and a tablet, and I think this is pretty good value (although I did later notice that lenovo on their web site offered it cheaper). This is an intel atom dual core PC. Its running windows 8 (not RT) so you can install other applications. The screen is good, and the touch worked fine. 2GB ram is enough for most uses. The 64gb eMMC is mounted as a C: drive and gives approx 32gb available.
A mish mash of pain and pleasure......but a great portable machine.

Summary: My son and myself have both been using the Miix 10 for five weeks, giving us enough time and usage to get a fair review put together. The construction is solid enough, overall it looks and feels good. I echo other reviewers in that the separate keyboard is a joy to use, and equally as frustrating in blocking off access to the only usb port on the unit...... a silly design flaw.
