Its a good product but the sim card slot should be considered.
5 August 2014
Summary: Th e product is light as expected therefore, easier to carry around. I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a sim card slot, so access to internet is limited if you're in a place with no wi-fi.
Summary: This is a replacement for a Miix 2 8 8-inch 32GB. The original device developed a crack in the screen that spidered across the entire device. The touch interface died soon afterwards. 32GB is inadequate for Windows 8. There is little flexibility regarding the download location for apps. So, I quickly filled the 32GB available and couldn't redirect to the memory card. The device is well constructed. Though, I'd prefer more rigidity.
ZERO SUPPORT FROM LENOVO WHO's PROBABLY TOO ASHAMED OF THEIR PRODUCTS.
1 August 2014
Summary: If I could give 0 stars I would. I got an unit that has the infamous touchscreen problem manifest itself after 2 months. Calls and emails to Lenovo were not answered and posting on the forums for support information got me banned. I am definitely never ever buying any of these Lenovo junk ever again whether for work or for play. I had never seen any big name companies that shriek their product warranty responsibility like this.
Summary: I received this tablet, got all excited, but there was a very jarring and obvious dead pixel mocking me from the get go. So I returned it the next day. This is my second bad experience with a Lenovo IdeaPad/IdeaTab. I once got a IdeaPad U310 with bad WIFI. No more of these IdeaPad things for me from now on. Amazon gave me a full refund the day of return shipment with UPS and that's awesome.
