Excerpt: We bought this on a Consumer Reports recommendation. The first one was defective and the one we got as a replacement had the same defects. It would not download any apps from the Google Play Store. Also, it could not be updated. We were able to download from Amazon.com and thought we might keep it but the fact that it could not be updated was the deal breaker. We spent a ton of time on the phone with Lenovo support and they had no workable solutions.
Summary: I was skeptical about a refurbished tablet under $[...]. This was my first tablet and my first Lenovo I bought and I had bad impression on the brand. The Good high definition, speed The Bad heavy, battery life (last only 2 hrs playing a small game), viewing angle from top, location of microsd slot, touch sensitivity
Summary: we have an ipad and my 7 year old son wanted a tablet for his birthday, so it seemed like the perfect gift. I guess the difference of price shows in the quality of the display, the battery life, and most importantly, the quality of the camera: it is surprisingly low quality and not very bright. My comparatively priced cellphone takes much better pictures!
Summary: As far as functionality, it's a pretty nice tablet. It's a great size, and I wrote enjoy Android. Is nice that the screen rotation lock is accessible on the tablet rather than in the settings, makes using it for different programs that much easier. The downside is that the micro SD slot is really hard to access--and find. I haven't used the camera so I can't say anything about that. Lastly, my battery takes over 24 Hours to charge fully.
