Very pleased overall with the Lenovo IdeaTab A2109
3 weeks ago
Summary: I'm very pleased with the overall performance of this tablet. I previously had purchased a cheap 7" tablet and was very frustrated with the performance. But, this tablet renewed my faith in the usefulness and functionality of tablets generally. It does take about a minute to boot up but this really isn't a problem. The speed and reliability are great. It is heavier than my wife's larger Asus tablet, but I feel like this Lenovo tablet is much sturdier, and not so fragile.
Probably not the fastest but a Wonderful Easy to use Tablet

Summary: This is the first tablet I have ever owned. I purchased it to give me a little more convenience for work and reading. With all the grandkids activities I do a lot of sitting and waiting so it's nice to have a book at hand. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure this would be the right tablet for me since the major complaint seemed to be the poor visual field for the screen.
Summary: I purchased this lenovo after a few disappointing purchases of " budget" tablets. I needed a tablet that is dependable, fast, easy to operate, with excellent WiFi (gift to my elderly Mom). This tablet provided all that and more. Mom loves the crystal clear crisp display that makes it easy for her to read her ebooks. She's happy, I'm very happy!
Summary: Had the tablet for 18 hrs - did the suggested operating system upgrade . . froze. checked. web - did posted corrections - still frozen Then called Lenovo - went thru same steps, tech said to send it back. On top of it , I had to pay return postage . . . $16. What an experience!
Summary: I did a fair bit of research on this, and ended up buying it on sale for $199 from Staples. I just couldn't justify the cost of an iPad or iPad mini, and while our Coby 7" Android did yeoman's effort for our little ones (7 and 3), the battery life was just abysmal. Basically, we were looking for a fairly durable tablet with good battery life and nice touchscreen that wasn't $350+ like the iPad mini or Nexus 10.
