Very Satisfied

James N., Newegg
13 March 2014
  • Summary: I was able to flash the operating system with Android 4.2.2 jelly bean. So basically I got an Android tablet, with the latest version of Android, with a 10 inch screen, and 32GB of storage for $150. Not bad! Also, I was able to pick up a leather case on from NaviTech for 3.99 with free shipping!
  • Pros: Price
  • Cons: Slight lag

Great Product for the Price.

  • Summary: The product is a great product for the price. The internet is slightly slower than expected. However, I am sure that this is due to the high speeds I am used to on my work and home PC's. Obviously, a tablet would not be as fast as a PC.

Tablet

  • Summary: The lack of a printed manual and a USB port is all I could find wrong with this very nice Tablet from Lenovo. It's fast and fun to use, and I am a first time Tablet user.

"Excellent if you can pick it up for around $300"

MDubb1387, CNET
25 May 2012
  • Pros: Hefty, excellent battery life, decent speed, decent storage, expandable via microSD, hdmi micro output, easy to use.
  • Cons: Battery life drags with wifi and sleep, has frozen 3 times in 6 months, speakers are very weak, listed as being pre-loaded with awesome apps but lots are bloatware, some lenovo additions to honeycomb are not that useful

Good value

Stuart, Amazon
29 January 2012
  • Summary: I bought the K1 on Amazon in November 2011 for $300. I was looking for an alternative to the iPad and to the expensive Androids. I've read the "bad" reviews on Amazon and I have not experience any of the really awful experiences reported by some (lockups, bad battery, etc). It's true that the built in speakers are not very powerful, so I use either headphones or an external speaker system (via the headphone jack).

Lenovo IdeaPad K1 130425U 32 GB Tablet - 10.1" - VibrantView - Wirele

archnmez, Overstock
15 January 2012
  • Summary: Have had some issues with the GPS lock on with navigator. GPS test program I downloaded detects 4 - 7 Sats, yet I can't get a lock? After upgrading some android apps I lost the full versions, had to do a system wipe. Most past issues besides the above for me have been addressed with the adroid 3.2.1 upgrade. Still hope that further upgrades can fix remaining issues. All in all good tablet for overstock price but wouldn't pay msrp.

"Great deal! Got mine at Office Depot for $299."

ChristianCabal, CNET
3 January 2012
  • Pros: Mainly Price - at $299 (Office Depot sale) its much more affordable than $499 for iPad2, and for $100 more, beats the heck out of the Kindle Fire, having 32Gb memory, and full access to the Android Market, and a nice 10" screen
  • Cons: - Turn off auto-brightness... makes the tablet unstable and unusable. I could not get it to come out of sleep in a dim room with it on. - Flimsy plastic back on it. -Occasionally apps crashing, but not too often, and they start up again quickly.
