Summary: I have a LePan II tablet. I started emailing them in the beginning of November, telling them that my tablet is having trouble waking up. I finally found the "contact form", and reported to them at this time, that it would not turn on at all. They did get back to me this time, and had me do the usual power/reset, etc. but it's still dead. I asked several times to send it in, and finally they came back with "It's out of warranty".
Summary: Similar to some of the folks who bought this, worked fine for first year and 6 months. now i have the dreaded LE PAN logo that just blinks and it won't boot up. Reset, restart, recharge, etc. has not worked. the unit did work nicely up to this point. wifi was not bad, however, the screen response was slow and Andriod 2.3 was not very robust.
Summary: I purchased my LePan this winter. It continually freezes up and I have to reset it and lose all my work. The company responded that I should hit the reset button -- a procedure I am very, very familiar with. That's all the support they gave me. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with my tablet and am tempted to toss it and buy something else.
Summary: I just returned my second LePan tablet in 6 months. After a while, they just stopped working correctly -- this last one stopped working completely. I hope this is not indicative of the device on the whole, but I thought I should add my experiences to the mix. I'm on the market for a different android, now.
Summary: I did a lot of research before buying this tablet, I was looking for the larger screen under $200 and this was it . Right out of the box the screen was frozen, but I already knew that I needed to upgrade the firmware- there are great and easy instruction on the company's website and it took me all but 15min.- and I am not an expert in computers. The screen is crystal clear ( needs the screen protector! )and the colors are vibrant.
Great for academics (edit 11/30/12: not so great anymore)

Summary: 11/30/12: Just an update, I had given this good initial reviews, but a lot has changed! A couple of weeks ago, the power button suddenly stopped working, apparently a common issue. I submitted a trouble ticket, but have yet to hear back, which apparently is happening to others as well.
Summary: This is an update to my previous glowing review which I have deleted. Just past the two week mark, it started to freeze, frequently, and the touch screen was often unresponsive in that it would not open a highlighted link. After resetting to factory standards half a dozen times and having no luck at all with unresponsive customer service from LePan, I decided to give up and send it back to Amazon.
Product arrived unable to boot, no customer support
Richard W Smith, Amazon

Summary: While this tablet appears to be a quality product mine arrived with a locked screen unable to boot. I have contaced customer support to no avail. I Did read reviews from other buyers who complained about customer support refusing to respond with no concern for the customer. I build PC's and repair them and have never had a company totaly ignore my request for support, so I thought there must be some exageration in some of the reviews. Unfortunatly I was wrong.
