Summary: This device is amazing, with a few considerations. It does not run stock android, and Huawei's interface is pretty dated. I immediately got NOVA launcher and so far that has made the device run great. Before there was no app drawer, but with nova that issue is resolved. The screen is only 720p, though I honestly think it does a good job. Everything is clear and easy to read on the big 6.1 inch screen. It powers through tasks without any hiccups.
Summary: I love this phone! I had the note 3 and got rid of it to get this. Did I make the right move? Yes! I know the note has a 5.7 inch screen but this phone is my sweet spot. I love the fact that I can go somewhere or stay home and feel like I don't have to lug around a tablet, because this acts as both.
Summary: great phone! battery life is great, network signal is great. we went to upper Michigan last month, my wife's iPhone didn't have signal and service at some area but mine HuaWei worked fine and still could use GPS! we have same ATT carrier.
BEST compromise between a Tablet and a Phone on the market!

Summary: What an amazing phone! I am a LONG TIME smartphone user, and I have to say, this phone is the best I have ever had! Faster than a Samsung Note 2 for a lot less money. The User Interface (UI) is very intuitive, but it lacks an App Drawer. Not to worry! "AppDrawer 1.5.1" is available in the Play Store, and it works EXACTLY like you'd expect. The battery life is AMAZING! I haven't charged my phone for 2 days, and I still have 40% battery left.
Best phone I have ever owned, I almost gave up on Android!

Summary: This is the best phone I have ever owned. I have been an Android and iOS user for over 5 years now. My last phone was a Nexus 4 which I thought was crap. I mainly thing it was LG, the maker versus the software. I was about to order and iPhone 5 but decided to save money plus get a larger screen. I have had the phone a month and no complaints. It just works, reception is good, software is good, I love the hardware. No complaints.

Summary: Have suffered enough with garbage phones that won't last a whole day. The Mate is even better than they advertise in their unappealing ads. I'm not an expert, mind you, but this phone downloads fast, and the graphics are tremendous on it. I downloaded a Battleship game in about ten seconds, and I can't quit playing it . The only knock I've heard about the phone, the camera, well, it works just fine. Good enough for me.

Summary: OK I SUGGEST ANYONE WHO CAN USE THIS PHONE IN THE US ON ITS NETWORK... T-MOBILE & AT&T CUSTOMERS... THIS 4G UNLOCKED SMART PHONE IS THE ONE TO GET.. While in the US all other brands of NEW smart phones cost is $600 and up .. this phone is not a well known brand, & have not gotten the US marketing that will make this phone cost sky rocket due to gorilla marketing based on the fact this phone has the longest battery life of any Android phone..
Great for productivity and entertainment, yet can be handled with one hand.

Summary: This baby must be one of the absolute bargains out there in phablets right now. Huawei Ascend Mate2 vs. Mate1: Twice the RAM (2GB vs. 1GB), a 13MP camera vs. 8MP, 4G LTE vs. 3G HSPA, 16Gb internal vs. 8Gb, KitKat 4.3 vs. JellyBean 4.1, 1.6Ghz Snapdragon 400 vs. 1.2Ghz home-grown K3V2 processor.
Summary: Awesome phone for this $299 price point. I was concern about the low screen resolution before purchase but in use it's much less noticeable than I expected. Battery life is phenomenal. Camera in day light is also phenomenal. Negatives are not KitKat 4.4, and poor camera in anything but bright daylight. Took a chance and put in a 64GB microSD card even though the spec and support said HAM2 only supports 32GB, but guess what, it works.
It has a high-capacity battery, and performs as well as the high-end smartphones.

Summary: The phone looks pretty. I used the phone without recharging for 3 days, while I frequently browsed internet and watched two movies (~3 hours). The screen resolution is good enough for human eyes. It is hard to visualize difference in pixel density between the ~245 ppi screen of this phone and those high-end ~450 ppi full HD screens, such as those of Galaxy S4 and LG G2. The phone does not heat up at all unless I play some games which demand a lot of processing.
