Not impressed by this gadget

  • Excerpt: Cool a new tablet! No! This tablet does not operate so simply. The icons do not make sense where they are placed and I have difficulty touching the screen to type in what I need. I cannot just open up a screen to get to the internet. I feel like there are so many secret entry ways and nothing makes sense to me. Battery life goes quick on this and I am so disappointed by this product that it just is sitting in my closet.

Poorly designed

  • Excerpt: Unreliable to say the least. Many times, the product won't even turn on. Not good for internet surfing. Battery life is 2 hours maximum. Many times, even after charging, the tablet will not even power up. How slow can a tablet be? This one has got to be the slowest. VERY HEAVY. Not for use for extended periods of time without something to place the tablet on.

"Slick OS ruined by slow speed and a bulky form factor"

gmcfalls, CNET
30 June 2011
  • Pros: OS is pretty slick, multitasks better than iPad (but not on par with the Blackberry playbook), calendar app has a lot of good potential, built in apps are well designed
  • Cons: Slow, slow, slow. There are times the TouchPad is simply not responsive. Why do I have to click an icon to get to other icons? I'm not too thrilled with this OS design choice. The form factor is a little bulky. It feels cheap and heavy - not a great

"New for HP"

case98, CNET
30 June 2011
  • Pros: Palm OS is looking good! Powerful in such.
  • Cons: Ceap cheap cheap. feels bad in the hands. A lot like the HP mini 1000 with its cheap screen. The hp 1000 would scratch on its on keyboard. Same here, bad/cheap materials. Hp is real late to the market as well. I only see businesses giving em out when peop

Not up there to my expectations

Amazon Customer, Amazon
11 June 2012
  • Summary: I ordered this product because I thought it was a good brand. I've had a HP laptop for a year and it has worked properly so far, so I thought Hp seems to be a good brand. After going through a lot of pages on Amazon and other online shops and comparing prices and features I decided to go for this one. I was happy for the price and everything was okay. The product arrived on time, actually sooner than expected and then I started testing it.
