Solid Competition to the Surface Pro for the $$

Godkast, Amazon
18 October 2014
  • Summary: This Tablet/Ultrabook is a gem. I think it was highly underrated when it arrived on scene, as it is perfect for anyone who does not want to shell out for a Surface Pro. Yes, there are some performance limitations with the low power processor, but for the most part it runs Windows 8.1 well--well...

Great little convertible with the ability to double storage through a microSD card slot

Great Taste, Amazon
2 September 2014
  • Summary: A very good hybrid Windows 8.1 laptop for the money. The screen is a little large and unweildy to use as a tablet since it is 13.3", but I typically use this as a laptop, so having the additional screen real estate and a full sized keyboard offsets that drawback.

A pretty good laptop

Scott Clark, Amazon
27 June 2014
  • Summary: I didn't buy on Amazon, but did gt this model (spectre h211nr) and have had it for 10 days or so. It's fast....having had two other ultrabooks, I can say it's as fast as any other i5, 4GB memory ans 128 SSD out there. No as fast as a i7, 8GB, 256 SSD, but that stands to reason.

Looks good, but too many shortcomings

Sashy, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this when it was new, for over $1000. I felt like it definitely wasn't worth it at that price. For significantly less (i.e the current pricing), I probably would think differently, although I still think there are better systems. Pros: - Looks nice. - Pretty fast. - Backlit keyboard.

At this price it's a no-brainer

third3ye, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: Pretty easy to overlook the relatively minor complaints on the Spectre x2 when it's sold at this price. Fantastic build quality, runs fast and with very little bloatware, and display resolution is outstanding. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the trackpad, takes some getting used to.

  • Summary: PROS: -Good-looking, hard-wearing exterior -High-quality 1080p screen -Decent keyboard -Exceptionaly cool and quiet CONS: Slow Core i5 processor Heavy, lop-sided design Trackpad could be improved Battery life unable to match rivals The x2 is one of the better premium hybrids, but I’d still advise...

kim, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: Ok. I was asked to write this review for this product. I got this on a lightning deal and don't regret buying it at all! Some asked about the coloring of the laptop - the outside is a matte black finish. The inside keyboard is silver. Nice finishes. Nice touch on the keyboard.

James MacKillop, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: Small, portable and light. Innovated design with 2 separate batteries and hard drives. I was going to buy the split, but the display res was less. HP designed to detach tablet without having to unplug cables from the base, convenient option.

Network card failed to deliver

Drei V., Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for a couple of reasons. First being I needed something a lot more portable than my gaming laptop. Second, I wanted a 2in1 that has a little more capability that others because I wanted to play online games with it like league of legends, diablo 3, etc...

The WORST

Outlaw53, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: Absolutly the WORST laptop I have ever purchased. And possibly the worst Support I have ever dealt with (only DISH was worse). It would not connect to the Internet at all. When I called tech support at the number provided I was told it was the Pavilion department, this was after 30 minutes on hold.
