Summary: This is the second ElitePad my family purchases. The first one was purchased by my dad. Before he decides on anything he does his research, he liked all he read about it. It's meant to be used a business tablet and that's exactly what he bought it for. My dad is a real estate broker and does most of his work on the go any where he is, so this purchase was pretty ideal for him.
Summary: I bought this tablet for $150 used from the Amazon seller ARRindy, and I have never used such a great Windows tablet. The construction of the tablet if exceptional, it feels solid and light at the same time. There is one port on the bottom that's used for a variety of things, a microsd slot on the side on the tablet, there is a volume rocker, a front and rear camera. The performance of the tablet is great as well as the battery life.
Summary: I'll keep this short. I purchased the tablet to replace my android tablet. I wanted something that would replace my tablet and laptop. It did just that. It's important to realize that the Windows 8 app store does not offer many games. If you're looking for games to play on your tablet, you will be limited with this one. However, the table it not advertised as a toy. It's a business device that is built well and performs as a laptop.
Summary: I love this thing. It lets you use Windows 8 the way it was designed to be used. On a touchscreen. I purchased this for my wife and shortly after giving it to her, I wish I had gotten one for myself. It's VERY fast...and does everything that your Windows 8 laptop will do, just perhaps a little faster. Mine came with Win8 Pro...and was upgraded to 8.1 for free. It also has Microsoft Office (student edition).
Summary: I bought HP ElitePad 900 G1 10.1 64 GB recently and it proved to be a very useful special after load MS office on it. It is fast and light no need to carry a laptop. The list price from HP about $550.
Summary: A beautifully engineered tablet. I used to only buy Dell, but their 'customer service' has caused me to bolt to HP. This tablet is handling every task I put to it in a very nicely designed case. The Windows 8 platform really shows its expertise on this tablet. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a streamlined, but substantial touch screen mini-computer.
Summary: I've been using this tablet for about two months now and I can say that this Elitepad made me LOVE Windows 8. The OS is so easy to use and is perfectly adapted for touch tablets. Because it is a solid state device it's thin and stays cool. I also got the battery sleeve as well which was maybe the best thing I could have done. 2Usb ports, a hdmi port and a SD card slot. I used to use my iPad a lot but that is a thing of the past now! I now use it to go to class with.
