Creative Ziio 7-inch Review

thinkdigit.com
11 July 2011
  • Summary: Despite it being affordably priced at Rs. 18,000, we would recommend buying the OlivePad VT-100 over the Ziio, as it sports a better 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, the same Android 2.2 OS, similar hardware, but at a lower price of Rs. 16,000.
  • Pros: Sturdy build quality, HDMI out, Transmits lossless wireless audio, HD 720p playback
  • Cons: Resistive touchscreen, No Android Market support, No GPS

Creative ZiiO 7-Inch: Not Really a 'Tablet'

Tech2
3 May 2011
  • Summary: Creative’s first attempt at a tablet is a major let down. And to top it off they have priced it at a crazy Rs.17,999. If it was priced somewhere around 10K, it would make a decent buy considering it plays full HD movies, WiFi and runs Android. If you only look at the video and audio playback capabilities then it’s a pretty nifty device, especially with the X-Fi sound chip, the audio quality is really good provided you use decent earphones.

Review Creative ZiiO 7" Multimedia Tablet

Notebookcheck
23 February 2011
  • Summary: 7 inch entertainer. Creative launches entertainment tablets for little money with its ZiiO range. Despite the low price, the tablets are to be suitable for rendering HD media. In any case, a 1 GHz CPU does its job inside the small devices.
  • Pros: Comfortable to hold, Built-in webcam, HD rendering, Connecting to TV, Wireless connection with speakers, Fast notes via stylus (no text detection), Price, Smooth rendering of HD Ready (720o) videos and the good interaction of ZiiO 7 and TV set. The device's handiness was also convincing.
  • Cons: Resistive touchscreen, Old Android version, No FullHD, Handwriting detection not fully developed, A capacitive touchscreen would have been very good for the ZiiO, even if it would have made it more expensive. Also, smooth FullHD rendering would have been a nice extra.
