26 August 2013
Summary: Awesome tablet. Just what I was expecting and was described in the Ad. Great Price for such a wonderful tablet. Loads the OS very quickly and setup is a snap. Connected to my wireless system seamlessly. If you are looking for a great tablet at a superb price check this one out.
Summary: This is from a first-time tablet owner. | ==>> Upgraded from the original 4-Star rating to 5-Star rating on 7/16/2013 | ** PROS ** - Processor and WIFI are both very quick. - Screen is very responsive with no delay. - Screen is quite sharp and bright. - Good sound quality. - Amazon Instant Video streams hiccup-free as long as the reception is good. - Lots of good pre-installed apps. | ** CONS ** - Cannot install newest version of Flash Player.
Summary: I've owned two other tablets in the past two years. An off-brand one with an All-Winner A10 board in it, and a Uniden tablet (Same tablet as the Polaroid PMID705) The generic tablet was okay but as I shortly found out, its near impossible to get parts for. I paid 120 bucks for it and after a week it got broken (The charger tip got shoved up inside and busted the powerjack). It felt cheap anyway. The Uniden tablet was nice.
Summary: There are a couple of lengthy reviews here that I totally agree with so I won't repeat much. The Coby 7 (MID7065-8) has proven a great choice. I was interested in the smaller form factor and an Android update after using a 10 inch Android tablet for a couple of years. The screen quality is great and the dual core processor is snappy. Unlike earlier versions of this tablet, this one is has Google Play access.
Summary: Bought 3 different cheaper tablets from amazon and returned all three of them two were doa and one died in a week. I finally decided to take a chance on the coby and not only is it more reliable but it's way faster than the others. So far i'm loving how well it works. Will update if this changes in anyway. but some advice... Spend the extra money and get the coby instead of the dragontouch or the agptek, you won't regret it.
