  • Summary: After purchasing this product, I tried to communicate with the seller to indicate that the charger was failing. They never answered me and tablet burned. They are very irresponsible.

You get what you pay for

Tyler C., Newegg
15 March 2014
  • Summary: I rooted mine, and deleted all the preloaded programs, as well as boosted sd speed and did a couple performance tweaks. After that it was a good tablet that worked well for general purpose use.
  • Pros: Comes with a case, caught it on sale for 40. See Other Thoughts
  • Cons: It is a bit sluggish if you start installing a bunch of programs without setting up right first

Customer questions answered

Robert B., Newegg
19 February 2014
  • Summary: Get youtube player. brings in Flash 11.1 No camera. (I wasn't looking for one anyway) Capacitive (multi)touch screen.
  • Pros: Price. (at $44, they were giving these away)
  • Cons: Coby brand. (Don't expect updates, support, or service, unless they're from 3rd parties) CobyUSA web site useless.

Geat Little Tablet

Mark D., Newegg
18 February 2014
  • Summary: Clock is very accurate, USB plug is a tad confusing at the tablet end at first, but as long as you do not force it, it will slide in. Mounting the USB on my laptop (Vista) was quick and easy and the laptop treated it as a removable drive.
  • Pros: Lightweight compared to a laptop. More portable. Good sized screen, very clear and bright. No phone contracts. Found my router immediately, even with the nearly empty charged battery upon receipt. Fits my hand well and the Android operating system, which I am somewhat familiar with, is easier for...
  • Cons: Heavier than expected and using the WiFi uses more battery power than I thought it would, but still have gotten a couple of hours of continuous use before the charge icon showed significant decrease. As will all battery powered devices, the amount of items in use determine battery life at any time.

14 November 2013
  • Summary: The price was good, but the case is made of plastic and is cheap feeling. It creaks in your hands when you hold it tightly.

Poor customer service from the Coby

Amy, Amazon
13 October 2013
  • Summary: I bought this tablet in December 2012 as a gift for my daughter. Two months after receiving it, the part where you plug it in to charge just caved in. I called Coby and they said I could send it to get repaired for free, just send a $15 money order so they could ship it back.
