Excerpt: this table is a decent one for reading emails and browsing the web does not have enough memory or capability to down load big games or storage .also very limited on what it could down load in the app shop best bet is to get a bigger memory card or a tablet with more internal memory and a camera i give it a 3. after 3-5 hours it goes dead limited in long life.
Excerpt: Overall I would not recommend this product to any consumer. I've had many issues with. THe battery doesn't last for long when using it. The speed is slow. I would expect a better product for the price. The only thing can be used by anyone. Reviewer received a sample of this product.
Summary: This tablet is OK. You have to kind of "hack" it to get things like the Google Play Store and some other basic features. Battery life kind of sucks compared to some of the more expensive tablets out there. I basically bought this thing to watch movies on during a long flight. Now, I have a smart phone and that works fine for my casual use, so this thing just sits on my desk and collects dust.
Summary: Obviously it's no iPad... My daughter received the Coby from Santa last Christmas and it had lots of issues. It completely froze up several times and on the last one in November completely stopped working. Luckily was still covered by the Manufacturer warranty. We mailed it back to coby and withing a few weeks received a new one. Seems to work better than the first, but we'll see!
Summary: I Bought this tablet for me based on reviews I found on the web; The Coby Kyros has a nice screen with good touch sensitivity overall good gadget the only thing I'm disapointed is that has a very limited Wifi range compared to a similar size but cheaper tablet that my son has. I have to be closer to my wifi router and my son can use his at least 18ft more.
Summary: Great tablet, but... Many options is unavailable. Is really frustate the incompatibility with Google Play. Cann't download for the normal way many apps. You have to search the .apk file to install it (facebook, instagram, pinterest, etc). You can install the Android Market, but also the apps is limited. Sometimes the tablet crash in the middle of a game, or surfing on the web, without any reason. I'm working to know why, but apparently is "normal".
Summary: I've had this a few months now and have to say it does the job (whatever that is - usually email, web browsing, and videos / music when travelling, playing with apps...). Pros: inexpensive; it works; connectivity (HDMI, microSD, etc); will last a transcontinental flight; runs the Kindle and Nook apps fine Not sure's: not tried to run Skype on it yet (no need) as not sure it has a mic; some video player apps can't run in hardware-optimised mode (but seem OK in software...
