Excerpt: This is my second tablet after having an iPad2. So it is kind of a comparative review Playbook 16GB vs iPad2 16 GB wifi only model both. Why you should buy Playbook1. Price, Price, Price. It is more than 50% cheap than iPad 2 (if we consider the latest discount that is going on).2. OS is very good ...
Pros: Nice portable size, fast OS, high quality cameras, and great battery life. It also has the best mobile browsing experience of any tablet or smartphone. I also like the BB Bridge functionality.
Cons: Got apps? No Foursquare, Google Mobile Apps, Kindle, LinkedIn, Netflix, Nook, Twitter, VEVO, etc. Also missing the standard IM/ video chat clients, AIM, MSN, Skype, Yahoo!, etc. Needs an RDP client too. Lastly, the keyboard needs improvement.
Pros: "Frame" menu/home features is nice. Front facing camera is 3mp, better than most. HDMI Screen response is smooth and responsive Full web experience (does not go to mobile versions of most sites I have tested).
Cons: No native Exchange Support No native POP support No Netflix Horrible App selection Small screen is made smaller with the "frame" around it. Playbook is slow to boot and sometimes slow in performance (especially in Web browsing)
