Summary: It is a very poor tablet. It works very weel with e-mails but the rest is very, very, very poor. It lacks apps like skype, contacts cannot be sync. Just one question. Why not use the same OS that BB uses on their new phones? Please have un upgrade for this playbook. Thank you.
Summary: This playbook is the main reason I'm getting something I was trying to avoid............an Ipad. But, paying more and having more satisfaction is probably worth it in the long run. I was going to get more playbooks for our children, but not now. Dead battery in 5 months is not acceptable to me.
Pros: 7 inch and 'seems' durable
Cons: glitchy software and must be reset often. Battery charging issues.
Cons: First of all ignore all positive reviews. This is terribly manufactured device, even though at first it looks as well made. The tablet had screen flaws right out of box. No money back policy so I could either return for replacement or repair. I decided to send to RIM for repair. Well RIM did not ...
Summary: Works pretty well, nice features, great screen, etc. But if you let the battery run down, good luck getting it to ever charge up again! From surfing around the web for a solution, looks like others have had this problem too.
Summary: Don't waste your money. If I could return it I would. I love the thing when it's working but that's not for long. The software is very buggy even after the update especially the browser. Freezes up a lot and have to reboot daily.
Pros: Size is perfect, fits in your pocket, has full access to the web true multitasking, sound is adequate the display is very good.
Summary: I'm not sure if this machine is worth $100 firesale prices unless an android release occurs. Shame on RIM. I expected more!
Pros: Graphics are good. Battery life is good.
Cons: Compared to my Dell Streak 7 and Ipad 1, this is the worst tech investment I've made in 10 years. Swipes are marginal and glitchy. It doesn't interface well with cloud based reader purchases. Reviewers that suggest a powerful browser appear to have not expereinced IPad or Android tablet browsers ...
