Summary: This is a good tablet. Lots of disk space (32GB model) with decent speed running apps. The boot up time is slower then I would like so I tend to leave it powered on. Battery life is good without the wifi enabled. Cons are the heat generated by the device. Its not bad but it is noticeable. If you use a blackberry this is useful to read e-mails using the BB bridge.
Summary: I got the Playbook last year. I have had no problems setting it up. The "blackberry bridge" works great. The screen and display are unbelievable. The operating system is intuitive. ver 2.0 The glass keyboard (I'm typing this on the glass) is the best I've ever used. RIM has done a great job.
Summary: Best kept secret in the tablet space. With the upgraded OS, this is on par with the ipad and only paid $150 for a 32GB unit. I can do almost everything I want with this tablet. Multi-tasking, html 5, 1080p video recording, video chat, BBM, HDMI output to TV, etc. Speakers A+. Really great for net surfing as you'll see web pages as if they are on a regular pc.
Summary: Very nice tablet at a great price! It's too bad that RIM's mismanagement let this product fall of the radar screen because as far as tablets go, this one is a nice one. The interface is great. The gestures are smooth and intuitive. The performance is great. It's fast and has true multitasking. Multiple apps can actually be running concurrently, not just open. The latest OS update allows Android apps to be installed after a conversion, so apps are now plentiful.
