Conclusion: I think blackberry or the erstwhile RIM have lost it, otherwise why would they have thought of such a useless device... blackberry is for connectivity and not for apps, with the playbook they are trying to do just that and failing.... imagine you have to carry a tablet and a phone to use a phone?
Summary: I have had this tablet for about a week and find it very useful. I haven't needed to switch my laptop on for the whole time I had it, mainly because of the great browser and email application.

Summary: Having used Apple and Android systems I find the BlackBerry PlayBook most accomplished by far. More applications are now being launched which adds even more to its appeal. A great product now its operating system has been updated. 7 inch was once criticised.. Now it is the coolest size to have.
Pros: all round performer with flash player, good cameras and stable operating system
Excerpt: The 7'' playbook itself weighs 425 g which is a nice weight for a tablet of its kind since it is light weight which allows comfort whilst holding it, the back of the playbook also has a nice smooth feel to it.
Excerpt: Boxed well & easy to setup on both pc & mac., it has 16gb of storage with no sd card slot., 1.0ghz cpu & 1gb ram., which is fast enough for browsing the internet & watching videos or playing games on.
A great tablet for an extremely low price, recommended

Excerpt: I bought my Playbook back in May or June. My laptop was really playing up and as I run my own very small online business I felt it important to have decent internet access at all times. I did look at new laptops but money is tight and I was yearning for a tablet so I opted for this in the end.
Excerpt: This Christmas there has been one item on the top of everyone's list: a tablet. My mother feels left out withone, my hairdresser is buying one for his daughter and my 10 year old cousin has requested one from Santa - but are they really worth it? Tablets are not new technology.
Summary: Just to give a bit of background - I already own an Ipad, an Iphone and an Ipod touch so you could suggest I am a fan of apple products. I bought my ipad a few years ago, and it very slowly became the property of my wife, to the extent that I haven't been able to get near it for 18 months.
