The BlackBerry PlayBook is a tablet computer announced in late 2010. It runs on the BlackBerry tablet operating system. It comes with a capacitive 7-inch TFT display that features full multi-touch and gesture support. It comes with one rear and front camera. It comes in a memory capacity of either 16GB or 32GB. It is capable of playing 1080p HD videos. It comes with an HDMI port and a microUSB jack. It is powered by a Coretex A9 dual-core (1GHz) processor. The PlayBook tablet offers full OpenGL and POSIX support. It is able to handle Flash content via Flash 10.1, and Adobe AIR apps. It features 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1. The BlackBerry PlayBook measures 193 x 130 x 10mm and weighs 400g.

Touted as the first professional tablet, the PlayBook tablet comes with 7-inch, 1024 x 600, capacitive multitouch display. It is powered by a Cortex A9-based, dual-core 1GHz CPU. It runs on the BlackBerry Tablet OS with support for symmetric multiprocessing. It supports the following video playback formats: 1080p HD Video, H.264, MPEG, DivX, and WMV. It also supports these audio formats: MP3, AAC, and WMA. It comes with several connectors including microHDMI, microUSB, and charging contacts.
