Summary: After accidently washing my 7" nook in the washing machine (don't ask...) I looked online for a replacement. I decided to go with the larger Nook HD+ Tablet. Got it quick, and I like it even better than I did the smaller one. The screen size is just a little larger, but visibility is much improved. It seems to be easier to view items on-line. The charger is sturdier and it seems to hold a charge longer, too.
Excellent value for those who know how to update it

Summary: I immediately upgraded it's OS to cyanogenmod 4.2.2, and got the Nook folio case. It's a great bedroom tablet. Screen is great, battery lasts a fair amount of time, it's lack of camera's isn't a big deal. Plays audio podcast loud enough to hear around the kitchen and family room in the AM. It's fast for typical web browsing activities, does games well.
Summary: This little thing is amazing I chose this over the kindle fire because this has an SD slot and an HDMI port which the kindle does not offer, can i just say that this was probably the greatest gift to myself!
Summary: So when I first got the item I was amazed by the overall look of it and it fit every one of my needs whether it be for entertainment or school, however there are some things you need to do in order for it to work fully functionally. After a few hours of downloading apps and using them i noticed my Nook started to go slow in terms of changing slides, getting apps to start, using the web browser and most of the features given.
Summary: This is an inexpensive and simple entry- level tablet, for those who can't afford or just don't want to spend a small fortune, and want just a basic tablet, for primarily, browsing the web and viewing video. It has a much brighter display than most competitive, expensive tablets because of its main purpose of being an e-reader. The bright display, as well as, screen size is larger and cheaper than the lowest-price Kindle Fire equivalent.
