Summary: Buy a good impact resistant case that you can use with the tablet and you should be fine. I'm glad I bought the extended warranty.
Pros: 2560 x 1600 screen, good audio, light.
Cons: The display is fragile. I dropped mine less than 2 feet and started a crack moving across the screen. It functioned fine until the crack reached the far side. when that happened it became impossible to control.
Summary: 1st one thought it was me! Don't make the mistake I did don't buy ASUS ANYTHING!!!! Do I sound upset yes I am very to think I used to recommend them
Pros: nice idea that's as far as it goes let he buyer be ware
Cons: lousy company known issues and there customer service does nothing more than lie to you so far my tablet has been in for an RMA service they received it and now they don't know where it is they lie put you on hold repeat the same things over and over thinking your stupid enough to believe them
Excerpt: First one did not charge out of the box. Called ASUS and they told me 3 weeks to repair or send back to bhphotovideo for replacement. Thank you bhphotovideo for superfast exchange. New one works flawlessly and is very fast. Used for browsing and family use. I may be wrong but the last generation of transformer tablets felt a little more sturdy.
Summary: It would have been great if i could of used my TF201 dock instead of the cheap plastic one but the connections are different. If you dont care about the extra battery the dock offers or the USB 3.0 option i would recommend just buying the tablet alone and getting a case with built in bluetooth keyboard.
Excerpt: I bought the TF701T to upgrade my old TF101, but was disappointed. The screen with its 2560 x 1600 is not as bright and crisp as expected. But what bothers me is its imprecision to touch. The processor is really fast and 3GB make a great paper but the qualities do not outweigh the defects.
Excerpt: I brought it as an intermediate device between my 5" cellphone and my dual screen desktop. I wanted the 10.1" screen for reading books, watching video, and surfing. I also wanted power for uses I had yet to discover. As with my other devices I end up using them for a lot more than what they were purchased.
Pros: App Availablity, Easy To Customize, Operating System, Screen, Web Browsing
Excerpt: Great for the current price (as of 2014-03-12) or about $ + less then the Samsung Galaxy Note 32GB. Each device as its advantages, the Asus has HDMI 4K out and the Galaxy has a stylus, brighter screen plus it uses a standard charging connector. This device also has an excellent screen with vivid color, stunning resolution and is almost standard Goggle in its operation vs propriety for the Galaxy.
Pros: Excellent Screen, Operating System, Web Browsing
Summary: Absolutely fantastic tablet. Originally had a TF100 that I gave to my daughter after I got this one. Not sure why some reviewers mentioned quality because mine is every bit as solid and well built as any other tablet I've looked at, including the Samsung's and Ipads, but is cheaper than either. Excellent screen, extremely fast processor, fairly good battery life, latest Android os.....what more could anyone want? Would I recommend to a friend? ABSOLUTELY!
Summary: Once I figured out the flicker solution (shown on YouTube by Franklin) I too was getting increasingly annoyed. But a few months ago, I found this solution and it works completely for me. Now this is my go-to tablet!
