Don't think you want to run something like Office suite
8 March 2015
Summary: After using it for almost two years, it is still ok but running slowly sometime. If you just need a lightweight windows tablet and only use web browser most of time, it is ok. Don't think you want to run something like Office suite.
Summary: The tablet was what I expected it to be but when I did experience a problem with it (almost a year after purchase) trying to get it repaired by ASUS has been a nightmare. I purchased the Square Trade warranty but that does not start until the original warranty is finished.
Summary: Kind of disappointed in this. I've already had to send it back because of a little glitch where it wouldn't download any Windows updates. However it was fixed and returned free of charge. Great size for travel although a bit slow. Good start.
Summary: I have had this tablet for roughly a year. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to get the benefits of a tablet without breaking the bank. I previously had an IPad 2 and enjoy having windows, a USB port, being able to print/open Office programs, etc.
Summary: This tablet is crippled in one regard. It has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3650. That's OK. But Intel does not make a graphics driver for Windows 8 for that graphics card/chip. So Asus wrote their own driver. And it does NOT support video scaling.
Summary: The ASUS is a mostly great tablet. I was able to install visual studio (Try that on RT/Droid/IOS) and get right into coding. It also has an install of MS office and a bundle of other stuff. The screen is responsive, the Atom processor is fast enough. It's nearly perfect for what it was designed for.
Summary: If you're going to get Windows 8, you must have a mouse for certain functions. I bought the ASUS keyboard and touchpad w/ cover to go with this, so I"d have what I need. What I didn't realize is that the keyboard didn't attach to the tablet nor did the cover hold it effectively in place.
Summary: I say not bad for reasons:1) it is light, smoothly, and easy to deal with.2) I love its battery, it really works up to 9 h. However: 1)the charger wire is too short. 2)Win 8 has no very good store nor than good apps. 3) its sound must be rise up.
