Summary: Had the same tablet for almost a year. No problems, bought it on a "Groupon" special. I fell in the snow, cracked the screen. New screen, $150. Bought a new tablet. Cheaper than fixing my old one. When I set it up it would not connect to the internet. Had to send it back for a replacement. Still haven't got my new one. Waiting patiently. Sucks that I can buy a tablet cheaper than a new screen/digitizer.
Summary: It is only worth it if you want to unlock the bootloader to upgrade the ROM. Otherwise there are newer better tablets. Unfortunately I discovered late that this is one of those refurbished that cannot be unlocked because the serial number is not in ASUS database. I called the seller but they told me the 30 days warranty had passed and did not want to change it. So I am stuck with an obsolete ROM, Android 4.2.
Summary: worked OK at first...told motherboard was replaced by Asus at time of purchase...now will not connect to wifi...battery will drain quickly overnight even when powered down...sometimes wont even turn on or turn off. Did take some decent pictures and videos when working...not sure if repair price worth it or just get a new one...out of warranty, should have returned it to seller sooner, but problems weren't apparent right away ...Just an update..
