Summary: I love this tablet and use it nearly every day. It is a great video player because it is flash compatible and all your windows programs work. Very nice to have the powerful processor and sad card slot. The only downside is the short battery life, pretty much has to be plugged in.
Summary: I have had the Asus EEE PC (netbook/XP) for 3 years, and I could not have made a better purchase for $250. Asus makes a good quality product that is user friendly and works right out of the box. My law firm is upgrading to Windows 2007/Office 2010, and I decided to go ahead and get a tablet.
In spite of the horrible battery life, I would still recommend this tablet.

Summary: This tablet is absolutely great. The touchscreen is very responsive, and the display is beautiful a well. It is a slight pain to get the pen pressure working in photoshop, you'll have to hunt down some drivers online.
Summary: I got this tablet over a year ago to use for small work-related jobs, but the stylus or touch pad or both produce unexpected phantom clicks and I could not reliably control the device for work purposes .
Summary: I just want to state, that I love my Slate.(rhymed :P) I think it throws people because it's called a tablet, and expect tablet-like behavior and features. A common complaint I hear is about the battery life, but you need to remember THIS IS A COMPUTER. It can do way more than a dinky little iPad.
Summary: I bought an Asus Ep121 about a month ago and have put it through some serious paces so I finally feel I can review it well from an animator's perspective. Sorry if it's a bit random since I'm just writing as I think of things to say. I work as a director in the L.A.
Summary: I have had the Asus EEE Slate EP121 for over 6 months now and I'm still enamoured with it. My career is Interactive Media (Internet Marketing) and I have to be attached to a computer pretty much most of my life. The Asus is an EXCELLENT tool for me to use when I present to clients or am traveling.
