Summary: I have had the Asus EEE PC (netbook/XP) for 3 years, and I could not have made a better purchase for $250. Asus makes a good quality product that is user friendly and works right out of the box. My law firm is upgrading to Windows 2007/Office 2010, and I decided to go ahead and get a tablet. There are not many tablets available yet that are full PCs, and I figured I couldn't go wrong with the Asus.
In spite of the horrible battery life, I would still recommend this tablet.

Summary: This tablet is absolutely great. The touchscreen is very responsive, and the display is beautiful a well. It is a slight pain to get the pen pressure working in photoshop, you'll have to hunt down some drivers online. I'm told that the drawing program that comes with the tablet works perfect with the pen pressure and the default drivers (I bought mine used with a clean install of windows so I didn't have the factory programs installed.
Summary: I just want to state, that I love my Slate.(rhymed :P) I think it throws people because it's called a tablet, and expect tablet-like behavior and features. A common complaint I hear is about the battery life, but you need to remember THIS IS A COMPUTER. It can do way more than a dinky little iPad. A few things I use it for: * Connecting to TV and watching movies. * Playing Angry Birds on my TV. :P * Digital Art.
Summary: I have had the Asus EEE Slate EP121 for over 6 months now and I'm still enamoured with it. My career is Interactive Media (Internet Marketing) and I have to be attached to a computer pretty much most of my life. The Asus is an EXCELLENT tool for me to use when I present to clients or am traveling. It is a complete computer that operates at a much faster pace than a Laptop.
Summary: I'm a Mac only user and Cintiq 21UX artist so Windows 7 is not something I'm looking forward to. Never owned a PC before but I wanted the WACOM pen technology that Apple refuses to embrace. After unboxing and fiddling with it today, I was impressed. I bought Sketchbook Pro and was super pleased with the feel of the pen and sketching. Easy set up. Very good and Cintiq like. Yes, it's got less pressure sense, but still great for sketching and basically a portable Cintiq!
Summary: Bought the 2/32 device because the 4/64 was sold our everywhere else. I am upgrading to 4/128 anyway so was not a total loss. All in I highly recommend this product. Best Tablet / Slate by far. I wanted something powerful yet portable. Only complaints are minor - USB covers break your fingernails! and the battery doesn't last much more than 2 or 3 hours. I accept though that I needed to trade off power for battery life.
A great tablet for MS Windows users esp. Office 2007/2010

Summary: My advises are the best of choice of 64GB instead of 32GB, Fortunately, you can install your software on SDXC card. But You must buy a separate USB DVD drive to install ex. Office 2007/2010 It is a great device to make hand writing in OneNote. Believe me it is almost impossible for iPad to compete this function. Furthermore if you want to see complete IE browser website. No way for iPad but EP121. Except above uses, you stay with your iPad would be fine!!!
Summary: I suppose since this is - at least from one perspective - a first generation machine, one could expect it not to be perfect coming out of the gate. Sure (many) other Windows tablets have come before it, but this is a nearly unique form factor (the HP Slate being the only other machine I'm aware of so far in this class).
