ASUS Eee Slate EP121

31 March 2011
  • Conclusion: This is one of the best Windows 7 tablets we’ve seen in years, and one of the few slate designs that targets not just artists and verticals but consumers. The $999 to $1,099 price tag might sound high relative to consumer notebooks, but it’s much cheaper than 12” Windows slates that target business users in healthcare, real estate and the like.
  • Pros: Superb display with touch and pen, fast Intel Core i5, runs cool., Excellent AFFS display with capacitive multi-touch and Wacom active digitizer and pen. Fast for a tablet with enough horsepower to handle business and art applications. Runs cool and quiet. Lovely design and excellent built quality. A folio case and Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard are included. SSD means you can move the Slate around without fear of hard drive damage and it's fast.
  • Cons: 3 hour battery life isn't impressive., Battery life isn't stellar.

Review Asus Eee Slate EP121 Tablet/MID

30 March 2011
  • Summary: High performance tablet. The Eee PC creator's answer to iPad & co. is a tablet with the performance of a subnotebook. In any case, an Intel Core i5 CPU, a 4 GB RAM, a 12" display and Windows 7 rouse interest. We've tested the other things that Asus has come up with.
  • Pros: Display: bright, high contrast, viewing angle stable, High resolution, USB 2.0, System performance, Compatibility, Viable supplies, Finger and stylus inputting, Stable case, The vast functionality with relatively high system performance and the very good display.
  • Cons: High weight for a tablet, Relatively short battery life, Very stiff USB ports, Reflective display, An AR coated display surface, smoother USB ports and UMTS.

26 January 2011
  • Conclusion: Still, professionals who need to use Windows software on a daily basis and want the best performance out of their tablets will definitely like the EEE Slate EP121. For everyone else, Asus is releasing a much cheaper Android based 10 inch version at about the same time.

Asus Eee Slate EP121 review

19 May 2011
  • Summary: Quite possibly the fastest Windows-based tablet currently available, but it’s still impossible to justify the Eee Slate’s £1,000 price.

ASUS Eee Slate EP121

2 August 2012
Wacom.

ASUS Eee Slate EP121

7 March 2012
