Summary: I have had a bad experience with ASUS customer Support. I have a very expensive Asus Tablet that is two years old and out of warranty and that has a failed Motherboard. The tablet is in perfect condition and never been abused, it is just a bad Asus component.
Summary: One other thought: The battery life initially advertised with this really was optimistic. Fortunately, we have a power convertor to allow us to use this in the car without worrying about battery life.
Pros: Windows 7 capability in a slate form. Overall, if this had worked reliably, it would have been a GREAT product. When it worked, it worked as intended, allowing us to get work done while traveling.
Cons: This device has been unreliable from the start. Initial setup was tedious. It took many hours to get all of the Windows updates installed. Summary: I used to be a HUGE Asus fanboy, but their support has gone in the toilet. I've contacted them 3 times (which could either indicate quality issues or simply a lemon). Once they told me I had to ship back my entire laptop for a power supply that went bad (and confirmed with a known working one).
Pros: Nice screen, Great i5 processor.
Cons: One memory slot, Poor quality Power Supply and Keyboard, Horrific support.
