Summary: I have had my B121 now for about 2 months and I have used it quite often. I am an IT professional (network engineer) and I love playing with new toys like this. First of all, I know these came with Windows 7 but there is really no need to leave Windows 7 on it. Windows 8.1 is out and I immediately put Windows 8.1 Pro on it after I received it.
Summary: We develop mission critical automation software for radio broadcasting and do many trade shows. Used the Asus Eee Slate - Bought it in April 2012 originally with Win8 worked almost perfect with most apps. then 8.1 Windows in 2014 upgrade corrected all small issues - its a great little Tablet.
Summary: I bought refurbished one last month to Arsenal PC, and I write a very bad review because PC did not work. I had the previous model and work very well until the fan started to make noises (regular issue in these tablets), and the screen was not working properly (back light did not work so screen was very dark, almost impossible to read). Then I bought new version last mont from Arsenal and in this one had the screen issue that I had in the previous model.
a great idea, if it had only worked.........................

Summary: this seemed like such a good idea, a full size tablet running the full windows 7 operating system. i purchased this to use as my work computer, but it froze up on my constantly. if it would have just worked, i have no doubt i would still be using it to this day. when i called asus tech support, their only solution was for me to remove & reload the entire operating system. they couldn't care less, and i happily let them have it back as a nice paperweight for their desk.
Summary: When I first got the ASUS slate to replace my old beat-up Toshiba Portege--I was SO excited. A year and some change later, not so much. For the past 6 months the slate began overheating within an hour of use and/or shutting down at random times, even while charging. I sent it back to ASUS for repair when it shut itself off and could not be turned on or off.
Summary: It's hands down the best PC I've ever used. Great for software development on the go. It also serves me well as a cloud device. The Wacom screen and digitizer combination really takes the cake. Things I like: - Great bright responsive 12 inch screen with digitizer pen (also great for drawing and artwork) - Lightweight chasis for a tablet it's size - Low heateven while charging and using - Sturdy and not as fragile as other tablets - 2 USB Slots, SDCard reader, micro hdmi...
Summary: I bought this unit as a factory fresh refurb. This product appeared to have everything I wanted in a tablet, USB ports, SD card slot, ability to boot different OS, LOUD obnoxious fan which vibrates more than my cell phone on silent. It would still be an acceptable device except for the noisy failing fan. Out of the box, the pressure sensitive stylus does not work. In order to get pressure sensitivity you need to search for and load the wacom drivers.
