Summary: Something must have been wrong with the one I had or they all just suck. Either way, I won't be buying that brand again. It just loved to reboot especially when I was in the middle of something. Why it did that I don't know because I had not yet loaded my apps and stuff on so it was practically stll at the factory settings stage. After two weeks of unnecessary rebooting and freezing, it had to go! Nuff said.
Summary: Tablet completely died. It doesn't come on nor will it charge. I never dropped or did anything harmful. I contact TIGER DIRECT and requested a replacement. I only had the tablet for 5 months. They did not respond at all. So I spend money to have a tablet completely DEAD within 5 months????? I performed more research on the internet and found that TIGER DIRECT return policy is AWFUL.
Summary: BEWARE RESIDENTS OF HAWAII AND ALASKA! My sons bought a Transformer epad for me for Christmas. I loved it – at first. Then came the upgrade to ICS, Android 4.0.3. My tablet froze and then quit altogether. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.
Summary: Purchased this for my wife for Christmas. Really like the tablet, display is great and the functionality for reading books, getting on-line to the Internet and e-mail is really good. The additional keyboard is great for e-mail also, that's what convinced me to buy this tablet. The only thing missing is sync for contacts in Outlook. I had some trouble finding it on the Internet but Asus has a utility for this!
Summary: Finally now happy with product, firstly got it as refbrished product would not charge as they sent me 2 x chargers with it, and earphones ,sent unit back , seems to work now, although did not send any earphones back in package disappointed,
Summary: I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, it froze completely within 4 months...ASUS said they needed to take it in to look at it, failed to send a courier on the agreed day. I contacted them again and restarted the complaint, they agreed to take it in and then failed to send a courier on the agreed day.
Summary: The device is fantastic and I'd never want to use a Tablet without additional keyboard dock. With Android 4.0 you can really take advantage of the homescreen widgets and I use these to manage my calender and emails with ease. If you have a fault with your device. Don't expect ASUS to be any help in repairing or replacing it. They have the worse customer service I have ever experienced.
Summary: generally this tablet is an awsome machine however I and a growing number of people google "dust under screen asus transformer" have noticed a problem with the screen on these tablets ... since I got mine .... two dust specs have appeared under my screen, one to the left was initially one spot which has now broken up slightly so its not a dead pixel ..
Summary: Until now I thought the ASUS transformer was fine, well made and functioning but then I got to push the back cover of the TAB a bit hard and now it seems the screen will never function again, its just all funny colors. I tried the HDMI output its still functioning fine, but it seems the screen will never functioning again, conclusion, the TAB, is stored in a too soft cabinet so you easily destroy the screen. Do not buy it before this is fixed.
