Pros: I bought this tablet for my mom for Christmas 2013. I needed to get her something that would get here away from the Windows Computer that she seem to always have issues with. She has been using this device for 1 1/2 years now and loves it. She is able to check her email and the weather on a daily...
Cons: Battery doesn't last as long as I think they should last on tablets but then again I am spoiled by the awesome battery life of the iPads. Either way I feel if Apple can make their batteries run as long as they do between charges companies like ASUS should be able to as well which is why I gave it...
Pros: It will do anything you want it to do plus more... takes a lot of usage from my kids and keeps on going. Excellent performer
Cons: Being a refurbished item the initial problem was not fixed (it did not close the back cover complete all around). I did purchased an extended warranty but dealing with the warranty people is another battle that I don't think I'll win. I'm still persisting on trying to had that fixed.
Excerpt: Asus just flialed their latest tablet into the android market and it has the latest Android OS for the least price! At around $400, who knew that I could possibly own an Android Honeycomb tablet? Well, it certainly came as a shock to me but I was very happy …
Summary: I bought this almost 2 years ago for $375 and I just completed another upgrade to Androiid 4.4.2 KitKat. Although Asus stopped upgrades after ICS, the developer community continues to provide updated ROMs.
Pros: Durable. Well supported by developer community. Long battery life. Fast charging. Good display.
Cons: Relatively slow by modern (2014) standards. No oil-resistant glass coating. Requires special USB cable and proprietary charger, but a small negative given the really fast charging afforded by its 15V charger. Very low volume from speakers and headphones.
Summary: I have had this tablet for years and really love it. I personally like the display and ease of since I own a smart phone with same OS. This said I can have same apps on my phone as well as on tablet. I can sync my documents ore e-books easily and no hassle to do so.
Summary: This tablet could be better if the ASUS and the warranty people didn't have tech service people from India. It is hard to understand the people over the phone. In addition, this tablet would be great if it was more stable. It used to crash a lot, freeze, etc. and it made using it difficult at times.
Pros: Great at first, ran somewhat smooth. Very sleek and nice. The keyboard addition made it great for college.
Cons: Started freezing after a couple months, acted really glitchy and didn't work right. Audio jack stopped working completely and customer service at both ASUS and the warranty company were poor. Mini HDMI port stopped working shortly after the audio jack. Last but not least, this device no longer wo...
Pros: The only pros was that it made it to my house. But never worked. Asus customer support walked me through the resetting process but nothing worked. Called up Newegg for a replacement but none left. So I exchanged it for the Nexus 7 32GB tablet.
