Summary: ASUS usually makes great products but this one falls down. Its primary weakness is poor Wireless. Pros: Great screen resolution and battery life. Long life battery and solid build quality. It features a micro SD slot and the ability to connect to a dock. It is possible to run custom ROMS although I still use the stock OTA JB one from ASUS. I would avoid this and buy the TF700 or TF700t. The TF101 is also a decent buy. Slower processor but fine.
Excerpt: this Tablet is a great device and very fast i like how i have a tegra 3 proccessor chip in it the keyboard is a bit annoying like when i am typing the cursor would move the interface is kinda distortef
Pros: proccessor is fast, the rear facing camera is awesome great quality, control things
Cons: speaker has the tendency to blow, the internet becomes unresponsive, it force closes it self, dont like where the sd card goes in the side it has a tendecy to fall out
Summary: This was my first tablet, I really should have bought the Sony tablet S. I was hoping to turn it into a laptop sorta thing, but ended up turning into a game machine (the games I play don't play well on it) and netflix (nothing but B movies). Maybe I am doing this all wrong, some other people could enjoy it.
Summary: I really loved this tablet and all the potential it had. It was as fast as my laptop as far as performance and I loved talking to my friends and family using Skype. There was sadly one glaring weakness. The internet connectivity is fairly poor. I get 4-5 bars of internet service across the house from the router with both my laptop and desktop. I got 1 maybe 2 bars of service with my tablet. I basically had to be close to the router to do any significant internet action.
Summary: I purchased the ASUS Transformer Prime in late March, and I feel like I've used the device enough to get a good feel for its capabilities. On the positive side, it is well built and sturdy, light, and very fast for a tablet. If not for one key issue, I'd give the TF201 a five star rating. Unfortunately, the ability of the TF201 to receive and hold WiFi signals is sub-par at best.
Investing so much time, energy and money on the Prime

Summary: I just have to echo the review below mine and reflect on my own experience. I too sent my Prime tablet back to Amazon today for refund, due to Wi-Fi issues. The device is slick, interface is adequate, display is good, but a Wi-Fi Speed test result of 2-3 Mbs downloads is laughable. I tested my ASUS Prime against Samsung & Motorola tablets' receiption within the same location. The ASUS was no match, it did not even come close with it's weak Wi-Fi receiption.
Pros: A great screen; bright and very clear with great color. Very fast and responsive touch screen. Camera works well and takes great shots. This unit is light and the bright screen makes a great reader when you don't want to turn on a light.
Cons: Despite all the wonderful things the firmware has been problematic. i am having lock and reboot issues that are the result of an update received on 2-19-2012. This is the reason for my 3 star rating. Wi-fi connection is also weaker than expected.
Summary: The tablet has beautiful design and I like Android. I used it for few days, mostly for streaming videos from Amazon Prime. In few occasions, the device just rebooted by itself while I was watching videos. I could see that the Wi-Fi reception wasn't stable. I tried to ignore the problem and told myself that I not gonna to go far away from my router but it couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network at my work.
