Asus Eee Pad Memo

The Asus Eee Pad Memo is a tablet computer that was first unveiled at the CES 2011 event in Las Vegas in early January. The Memo tablet is the smallest of all the tablets that Asus launched at the CES. Powered by a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8260 processor, the Asus Eee Pad Memo tablet computer will be released this summer. Featuring a 7-inch screen, it comes with a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. This light-weight tablet is equipped with 512MB of RAM and 8GB to 64GB of solid state storage. It comes ready with GPS, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3G. Other features on this tablet include G-sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, and light sensor. Powered by a high capacity 4400mAh battery, this tablet weighs about 0.86 pounds.

The Asus Eee Pad Memo tablet computer comes with a plethora of interesting features for consumers. There’s a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen on this tablet that features a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Running on Android 3.0, it features a custom Asus Android user interface that consists of a home screen, program launcher, and some custom apps. Available in a strong case, this Asus tablet comes with a stylus that comes with a rubbery pointing area allowing for a precise, pressure-sensitive input. There’s a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera that comes with an LED flash on this tablet. The Memo tablet also comes with G-sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, and light sensor. The Memo tablet has a microUSB port, a headphone jack, HDMI port and a microSD card slot.
