Excerpt: the arnova 9 g2 does the job . while contrast is not as good as the ipad, the arnova produces sharp text even when the text is small. the 9 g2 plays videos perfectly without stuttering. the 9.7 screen size is the best in my opinion . it matches the ratio of a page much better. better for web surfing. battery life is good not great. you can purchase a 8 gig card for under [$] online to make up for its lack of memory.
Summary: Beautiful piece of equipment, once rooted you'll get newer android ICS and also access to Google Play (mostly lack of Google Play caused previous negative feedbacks). Nice and smooth running 4.0.3 IceCreamSandwich. All games without lags, HD video even XMBC all running well. Do not understand 1-2 star reviewers, do they expect iPad2 for this price? Because this is much better then iPad1! FIVE STARS !!!
Summary: i am just over the 30 day return period for this tablet cant even get it to go on seems to be a problem with it as i have fully charged it .I have used it twice since i got it .How can i exchange for another make please
Summary: This is an excellent product and a joy to use. The only vexing thing is that Googleplay Apps is not available for it and yet many Android Apps are only available via Googleplay. Anyone see the irony where Google, who gave us Android, do not support this and many other Arnova devices with the Googleplay App.
Summary: I received this as a gift and and it was pretty mediocre until I downloaded and installed a new OS . Now it performs well and at the price is a good buy. If you are comfortable with the process of upgrading the OS (or know someone who is) then this is a good tablet for the price, The upgrade for android V4.xxx can be downloaded from the Arnova website. If you are a complete novice my advice would be to spend a little more and buy a tablet with pre-installed V4 Android.
Summary: I received the Arnova 9 G2 for my 70th birthday from my wife in June may I say it was not from Amazon but HMV I was highly pleased with it did every thing that i wanted it to do,there was the odd little hiccup but with the help of HMV helpline this was soon sorted until near the end of November a fault developed,I could switch it on but it would not boot up so I took it back to HMV and saw the manageress who after making a phone call assured me that the tablet was ok it...
