  • Conclusion: Overall, then, it's definitely worth spending a little more on your tablet. The Arnova 8 is cheap, but it just can't compete with any of its rivals.
  • Pros: The Arnova 8 gets an 8-inch screen that's a great size for carrying around. It looks good for the money, and build quality isn't too bad. It's surprisingly heavy, however, which can prove tiresome when holding in one hand. There's 4GB of memory included with the Arnova 8 as standard, but you'll be able to add more via memory cards. You'll be able to browse the internet using Wi-Fi, and the screen is a decent size for extended web browsing.
  • Cons: Unfortunately, the screen on the Arnova 8 is a resistive panel, and it proved incredibly unresponsive. We found ourselves having to tap it two or three times before it responded to our actions, and a sluggish processor compounds the issue. The web browser is also compromised, with fiddly and poorly located buttons making it all too easy to hit the wrong ones.
