Summary: This tablet moves at the rate of molasses, constantly shuts off even with a full charge. Pages take forever to open to the point I said forget it, unless you have five to minutes for a page to open this is not the tablet for you. I tried to return it but the seller gave me the wrong address therefore another $12 wasted on shipping charges.
Summary: This product broke within two weeks of purchase. Contacted company and never received a response. So disappointed. This was a gift for my son and he never got to enjoy it. When I took it to several different local computer shops they basically told me it would cost more then the purchase price to have fixed.
Summary: I love it only problem is with the honeycomb system in that apps do not fully close until you perform a reboot/shut down. It's a great size and everything else is amazing. Even a fast startup (that's a miracle in itself). Loud sound. Detailed graphics.
TERRIBLE customer service, known charging issues...

Summary: Okay, I rarely ever rant against a company, but this is just too much... My mom bought me an Archos internet tablet 70b for Christmas last year. When I got it, it worked wonderfully and I was very happy with it. However, there is a "known" issue with the product, in that the charging port is too loose and after a while, it will not recognize the charger so it runs out of power and cannot be recharged. It lasted all of 5 months for me!
Summary: As far as functionality, the tablet works well. The screen is responsive, and it's not too difficult to navigate. My only objection is the battery. I allowed it to run very low, and then charged it back up. For some reason, after doing this, the battery will not keep a charge. If you allow the tablet to just sit for a few days, the battery will drain completely.
Summary: Love this tablet when it works, however having to send a 3rd tablet back. Same thing ALL 3 times, USB port pulls out enabling the device to be charged. I can't be anymore careful than I already am after the first time it happened. Hopefully this will be replaced again at no cost, only thing lost is a few pictures.
Summary: So the biggest PRO is that it has Google Play. That's what made it stand out in early 2012 when I originally purchased two of these from Best Buy for use in my classroom. The screen reminded me of my old Samsung Moment- one of the FIRST Android phones made. The screen was not very responsive, it was extremely slow to transition, and the picture wasn't very bright or vivid. This could have been forgiven, after all, at the time it cost $200 and had google play.
Summary: For a small tablet, it's great, however if you're looking for something to read your ebooks on, the battery runs out before you reach your destination. Took it on a plane to Las Vegas from Phila, the battery ran out after about 6 hrs.
Summary: The Micro USB port on this tablet was not designed well. After several weeks using the tablet while charging, the Micro USB became so loose that a connection could not be made sufficiently to charge the device. Comparing this port with micro ports on other devices I own, I see the tolerances are far larger on the Archos tablet. It is not an expensive desk weight.
Summary: Personally, i got this tablet for free from my sister who won it in a contest, so this is a review on the performance more so then the price but the price is pretty good. although in 2 or 4 years this kind of tablet would probably be 50 or 60 dollars, if you want to wait though we all need to enter the tablet market eventually, why not today?
