Summary: I basically just wanted a big version of an ipod that could hold alot of GB and was a touch screen. This was the best thing i could find and it seems alright. I may go crazy if i had to use it as a tablet but seems to work with just music. It sometimes freezes and also seems to not turn on.
Summary: I bought this exact tablet a few years ago. It doesn't play videos online and you can't view certain websites as it says your adobe player is too old. When you try to install a current one, it fails every time. I have downloaded the latest software updates but nothing has helped with this problem.
archos 70 internet tablet - not as good as it could be

Summary: I've owned an archos 70 internet tablet with internal 250 GB hard disk for about 2 months now. The basic idea of this tablet it great- play music and movies, and have a handheld device for internet etc.
Summary: I've had the Archos 70/8gb tablet for several weeks, and mostly it's been fine--not an iPad for sure, especially with apps and online sites fouling out, and a lag that's small but at times noticeable--but in many ways it's getting there.
Summary: For the Price the quality is ok. 256MB of Ram in my opinion is a little too slow. Since Froyo 2.2 now supports Adobe Flash I was excited to finally be able to view flash on an android device but because of the insufficient resources, flash becomes very choppy and on board memory optimizer closes...
Summary: I have compare my 32gb Ipad & this new tablet I have...I would say, this one is way better. First, Ipad has onlu upto 64 gb memroy but my archos has 250gb, that rocks!, My archos could save any...i mean any kind of music/video files while ipad can't.
Summary: I didn't really bought this for myself but for my brother. I did try the device and found it pretty sweet. The touchscreen is not as reactive or fast as I would have liked but its thinness and portability make up for it.
Summary: Pros: Kickstand is great. Supports a lot of video file types. Cheap. Nice speakers. I have the 250GB so it has a ton of storage. Full HDMI output. Cons: Fingerprints all over the place. No Google apps(have to hack them on). 256MB of RAM makes this slow and laggy.
Summary: I really want to like this little tablet. It's small, light, plays nearly everything, and has a 250GB HDD. On paper, it's awesome. In the hand it's, well, a little less awesome. Don't get me wrong, it's still a nice little device; it's just that it has so many "quirks" to it.
Pretty Descent for the Price but NEEDS SOME BIG improvements

Summary: I've wanted a tablet for a while now but the price of what was out there discouraged me from buying anything. I bought this tablet as a Christmas gift to my wife but I had to test it out for a couple of weeks to make sure it worked and that it was worth the money to keep it.
