Love it, hope it's still this cheap when I can buy another one

Summary: Bought to replace my Zune after my music collection grew to be far more than a Zune/iPod can handle and after researching different brands/models this one was the best for the money. The default music app is nearly incompatible with so much space useable for music, it just falls on it's face with more than ~60gb of music, fixed that with a free app from Google's Play store.
Summary: Well, I've purchased the device in October 2011 via Amazon, and it should work as a mp3 player, directly connected to my stereo receiver (over the years, I ripped more than 900 CD's, in total > 45 GB). Internet, apps, E-Mails, Videos - I don't care. In the beginning the Archos performed to my full satisfaction, but as the number of tunes increased, it significantly dropped down. Search for titles became a slowly, painful exercise.
Summary: I basically just wanted a big version of an ipod that could hold alot of GB and was a touch screen. This was the best thing i could find and it seems alright. I may go crazy if i had to use it as a tablet but seems to work with just music. It sometimes freezes and also seems to not turn on. So I have to charge it more i guess in order for it to turn on. Wish I could give it 2 1/2 stars. Although it works and its cheaper than a regular tablet.
Summary: A little bulky and heavy compared to the 8GB but great value and works great! The 8GB is enough for me but the kids like to take movies and music with them and the 250GB allows them to do just that.
Summary: I bought this exact tablet a few years ago. It doesn't play videos online and you can't view certain websites as it says your adobe player is too old. When you try to install a current one, it fails every time. I have downloaded the latest software updates but nothing has helped with this problem. It does play your music files as that is the only thing I use it for since browsing the internet is very limited and most of the time it freezes.
Summary: This was purchased for my husband, a Soldier who is set to deploy on 2 weeks so he could skype with the kids and keep in contact when he has a chance. We recieved the Tablet today, and it wont work! Wont charge, wont turn on. We called amazon who put us through to the seller. The seller proceeded to tell us once the package is opened, it cant be returned and were basically out of luck and taking a $160 loss.
Summary: Before I start I want to make this abundantly clear for non-tech savvy people out there due to the fact that this tablet uses an HDD for it's main storage the load times on some items may be a few seconds longer than with your traditional SSD based tablet. This has nothing to do with the tablet being out dated or bad. Now on to why I purchased it and how it performs. The Archos 70 is a sleek, slim.
An excellent tablet for an average tablet user, cheap and of great quality.

Summary: This is a tablet I owned before and purchased again just recently. It might sound a little odd, because now there is Android 4.0 available in other tablets, while this goes up to 2.4 I think. But let me just explain. It is a tablet that lacks nothing in quality. I can watch HD videos, listen to MP3s, browse the internet, read books (very useful to me), in other words, things that the average user wants to do with a tablet. I still got a laptop for more demanding tasks.
Great tablet for kids, needs parental block for ordering over internet.

Summary: Bought this tablet used for grand kids. Works perfect they just love having their own tablet to play games on. excellent battery life last all day.Very rugged even though light weight.Only thing missing on this older tablet is a security block option to prevent ordering over internet. So I keep internet turned off most of the time.
