Summary: I have been looking for an android tablet for my girlfriend who is in nursing school and could use it at the hospitals she does clinicals at and we found a winner. I had some worries since most of the reviews talked about the older 1.5 android installed which doesn't run too many apps.
Summary: I really like it for what it is. I did not buy it to replace my cellphone, computer, pda, or what have you. I bought it to display pictures and videos, to store a book or two and to have access to the internet while I wait for my wife to get off of work. For all of these things it is great.
Summary: At $199 this is a great unit to tide you over until the marketplace has settled down a bit. With tons of new tablets being introduced it seems a bit risky to spend $500 knowing that whatever you buy will be out of date almost immediately; the Archos 7 works well enough and is inexpensive enough that...
Summary: Considering that the Archos 7 costs less than half of what an iPad costs, this tablet is a great value. It surfs the web, grabs your email, has apps and can do Flash. The built-in Wi-Fi is easy to configure and can pick up signal easily. The screen is bright...very bright..
Summary: I got this tablet a few days ago. I knew what I was getting into because I had read the early reviews of this product. I got this mostly for using it on the go when I want to use the internet. I wasn't disappointed until I tried Youtube and Facebook via the included web browser.
Archos 7 Home Tablet is a Good Value for the Price

Summary: The Archos 7 Home Tablet is a decent surfing device if you're looking for something with a larger screen but don't want to spend a lot of money. I have an iPod Touch and was looking for something larger for surfing. This device is by no means an iPad and I knew that going in.
Summary: Got mine last night from Amazon (Amazon Prime rocks!), pretty happy so far. I knew I would have to manually install apps that aren't in the Archos AppsLib application, since Google doesn't support this through the Android Market.
Summary: This was my first Android tablet and it was great. I bought the Internet Tablet model after this one fell off my bedside table and broke the power socket internally otherwise I would still be using it.
Summary: This tablet was chosen because it for the price being asked for some tablets, this model had the best reviews. These have worked out well for our children who are learning the ropes of older android systems and are now downloading apps galore, and rather eerily, they are running around with them all...
Summary: This was bought as a gift for children and they loove playing with and using their Archos tablet to the extent that they no longer care for much tv or the computer and have been producing drawings and other things with abandon; yes they now act like they could be executives in a busy company.
