Summary: I purchased this piece of garbage which never worked period. Amaona a to z garentee is a complete scam. Avoid this vender ar all costs and although it pains me avoid amazon whenever possible. I have never seen a company treat loyal customers with such contempt. Ignore the a to z Scam. My youtube channel will have alternative shopping sites and discussions about inflated shipping cost, defective merchandise and any stories you may want to share.
Summary: Except voice line connectivity. This is the norm for an internet tablet. My only problem is that it hangs periodically when I am playing MP3 music. This is a HUGE problem for me since I bought it for this purpose. I did not want to surf the internet, use WIFI to pick up email, etc.
Summary: cracked in less than 1 year my 2nd one died in 6 months. avoid archos NOT Recommended! If anyone has any questions about this please don't be afraid to ask me. I'd be more than happy to answer any and all of them.
Summary: I've owned the Archos 43 Internet Tablet for one and a half years. The touchscreen is essentially broken. This Archos hosts a resistive touchscreen, which is more workable with a stylus (of which it does not come with). The accuracy on the touch screen is horrible, especially with you are browsing the internet (how to click links in tight spots, even when zoomed in and using a pen lid).
Summary: Touchscreen started malfuctioning after 4 months of use. USB, HDMI, microSD ports are great expansion features... if only the touch worked! I really wanted and tried to like this device, but at the end, poor quality just let me down.
Summary: It is old and the price has not been updated in a long time, it is only worth around $80 or less Things to consider: It uses a resistive touchscreen and NOT a capacitive touch screen. This means that it is NOT multitouch, and it also means that you NEED a stylus to use it. If you use it without a stylus, then you will have issues such as inaccurate targeting when you touch it with your finger since a resistive touch screen can only detect 1 point at a time while a...
Summary: As the title said Worst android device ever used! Save your money and buy a better device. The screen is restive, so every button on the screen I try to press I am either pressing the one next to it, or the button I want to press and another button or two. I felt very rarely I pushed the actual button I wanted to press. I owned the Archos 70IT it was a lot better then this device but I now have a different opinion about Archos!
Summary: this is one of those reviews that I have to say this is again the worst product. its just as bad as the Motorola Zoom well on this review I did not test download apps and run them. I gave up that idea to test that. well that will be a waste of time and money The controls do not work. when your controls got dead craft man ship in China. so is the rest of it. Touch screen needs a lot of work. This is a cheap made in china is got to stop.
Summary: I just received this item for Christmas. Thankfully, we bought it at Wal-Mart, so we will take it back on Tuesday. My mother purchased it as a gift for me (it was on my Amazon wish list, that's why I'm commenting on here). Isn't she sweet? The basic story is we have 2 dead-on-arrival 16 GB Archos 43 tablets. The first smelled terrible when we took it out of the package. It wouldn't even start when we attached it to the computer via USB.
Good product, lousy service. Could've been iHappy.

Summary: I bought the Archos 43 not too long ago. I figured I'd try to avoid the iRut that so many people are stuck in & save a few bucks along the way. While this is a good product, I would caution any reader of this review against sending any unit in for repairs--it's nothing but an organization of crooks.
